Firstly, it IS everyone's business because it's on The Realm. I'm not going to try to stop it, but everyone should have a say. NO ONE would have a say over you putting a memorial note in your bio or having something named in memory, but those are not PERMANENT parts of the Realm. Secondly not everyone saying no is saying no just because everyone else is saying yes. I hate it when people make generalizations along these lines. Thirdly there is a issue regarding roleplay vs real life. Should a person's death in real life get a memorial on a fantacy role playing game (i am not saying how people think of it, i'm saying what it is)? Fourthly, as i said earlier, i think a more fitting (for the game, not more fitting for the person) memorial would be a room accessable by going to the person's house which contained a sign or two comemorating the person. And maybe a slate or wall somewhere comemorating anyone from the Realm that has died. I also certainly believe that the person's name should be forever withdrawn from the Realm database. I would also like people to know i have known people that have died in RL and i have known one person from the Realm that died. I still think someone that has NOT had these experiences could render a valid decition. -Lief
