Welcome to China! It's time to step back into Lara's shoes and find that pesky dagger. Here you'll find plenty of things to kill you.You begin in a large cavern. To get out, you'll need to get a little wet. Look for a ramp to wade your way out. Those tigers aren't all that scary from the top of the rocks, are they? Don't enter the wall without finding the stone dragon.Nothing fancy about the first tower. You'll have to know the old run, jump and grab to get to the lever that will let you out, though.Who decided that crows were scary? You might want to really run up on the first one so you'll have plenty of room to back up.Need a key to go on? You'll need to get wet again. Find the key in the water. Be careful getting out, though, there's a nasty critter out there. There's a nice mound to help you back up to the wall. Oooooh. Spooky spiders. Actually, those little buggers are hard to spot. Now you get to test out your new climbing skills. If you don't get up there, you won't get out of this tower. There's more creepy crawlies in the following room. Don't be afraid of the slide, but don't try to cross the water on your feet.The next few parts are pure evil. Move fast and remember what your mother taught you: run away from boulders, jump spikes and climb out of rooms with collapsing walls. Be sure to grab the jade dragon on the way. Only stand on the break-away floors when they're the only way out of a tight spot.Don't get too excited by the hand slide. It'll come later. With a little controlled fall and a little hand over hand, you'll find your way into a cavern. There's another opportunity the climb, but this time it's down. If you're scared, light a flare.You might want to save the game at this point. No, really. Get ready for some rumbling and some roaring. If it's fun once, it's fun twice, right? Just be sure to grab the gold dragon down there and head back the way you came. Now it's time for the hand slide. With good timing, you can drop onto the ledge, draw and be firing before you hit the ground. Look around the cavern for fun, but the large door is where you're really headed. And duh, fire's a badthing. Congratulations! You've completed the first level of Tomb Raider 2. Time for your first cut scene.
