How to Make Nockmaar Castle Pie

THESE GO IN:
  • 1 unbaked 8-inch pie shell
  • 2/3 cup BAKER's(R) Real Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 2/3 cups cold milk
  • 1 package (4-serving size) JELL-O(R) Vanilla or Butter Pecan Flavor Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
  • COOL WHIP(R) Whipped Topping, thawed
GET THESE READY:
  • 8-inch pie plate
  • spatula
  • small mixing bowl
  • wire whisk or fork
  • 1-cup liquid measure
HOW TO MAKE IT:
  1. Bake pie shell at 425 degrees for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven.  (Note to parents: this recipe requires the use or an over, so you child may need your help.)
  2. Immediately sprinkle chips in single layer on bottom of pie shell. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes to melt chips; spread evenly over bottom and side of crust. Cool thoroughly.
  3. Meanwhile, pour milk into mixing bowl; add pie filling mix. Beat with whisk until well blended, 1 minute. Mixture will be thin. Pour at once into chocolate-coated crust. Chill 1 hour. Decorate with tall whipped topping peaks to resemble castle towers. Makes 6 to 9 servings.
