Later, the British company Encore Entertainment released it in widescreen format along with the original trailer, on both VHS cassette and PAL laserdisc; both were packaged using the French poster art. Recently, Willow has been repackaged and rereleased by Sony Pictures, on both VHS and laserdisc. The VHS cassette comes in a clamshell case; the laserdisc is available in a pan-and-scan version and a special widescreen THX version. The packaging for all three features a new photo-collage of Willow, the High Aldwin, Madmartigan, and Sorsha, and lists Val Kilmer and Joanne Whalley as the stars; Warwick Davis apparently didn't make the cut.
