I don't remeber if I already told you guys this, but I took the idea of taping eps to audio cassete, and last night I taped the momento mori hall scene, and the confession scene from revelations. I listened to it today, in the shower, and wow you were right about how you could feel their words more deeper! I know how you feel about the R2 music. I'm still not over the music, from momento mori! Do you sometimes feel like your life revolves around x-files? Mine does. If you tape all the eps, then here is an idea on how to make your week go by quicker. 1. Don't rewind the shippy parts or any parts of the ep until the next day. Reasoning: If you do watch it again on Sunday night, then you have nothing to look foward to on Monday. Don't watch the trailor for the next episode either until I tell you that's its safe too. 2. On Monday, only watch the really really good parts of the episode. NOT the whole episode. Reasoning: On Tuesday you'll be able to look foward to letting yourself watch the whole episode. 3. Okay, now you've made it to Tuesday already. Isn't the week flying by? Tuesday let yourself watch the epidsode in kinda a relaxed un- concentrated state. But your only allowed to watch it once. Reasoning: YOu can look foward to Wednesday watching it how many times you like. And, yes you are now allowed to rewind confusing parts, or put the closed-captions on during the parts where DD starts to mumble. (If your like me, you also can put the way 'shippy parts on slow-mo.) 4. Okay, it's Wednesday. You've already critiqued every look of Scullys and already decided that you hate CC for messing with your mind. To save yourself, watch the trailor for the next episode that you should have taped if your a true fan. 5. This is the end of the week where you say, " I can't go on." No suggestions here folks, sorry. 5. Thank God it's Friday. To console yourself now, you must think, "Ah, if only it was back when x-files was on Friday. I wish they never decided to switch the day, but ah well. " On a lighter note, just think that you can now have a life on Friday nights because you now don't have to tell your friends that you get a hemroidal flare up every Friday. Now every Friday you get to actually have a life! That's good news! 6. Oh, come on guys! It's the weekend and I still have to help you out? Just be thankful that you have a free day to yourself. (Since you can sleep in the next morning you can stay up late and chat with others to get all the spoilers.) 7. This is the hardest day of all to live! SUNDAY! Ah, well. I don't really have a way for you guys out there to survive until 9p.m. but this is how I do it every week. First I wake up around noon and then go to church. Afterwards, i catch up on all my homework that I have been avoiding during the week due to my disease of watching x- files over and over. Then, I get to turn on my tv at 8p.m. and set the video tape in the right place, the antennas in the right spot, and dance around the house screaming, "Only so and so more many minutes until x-files." This usually occurs every five minutes until my parents threaten to take away my computer if I don't shut-up soon. Now, wouldn't that be tragic? This is the point where you say," Thank you so much for switching x-files over to Sunday!" 8. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You made it! Even though your hands are freezing cold grabbing the remote control so hard (because of being prepared to press the record and pause button so hard) and you are practicly shaking, you have this extreme need to say, " Chris Carter, you are God!" -mo "Don't tell your daughter to marry a doctor. Tell her to be one." - unknown ----------------------- Headers -------------------------------- Return-Path: Received: from relay06.mail.aol.com (relay06.mail.aol.com [172.31.109.6]) by air10.mail.aol.com (v36.0) with SMTP; Sun, 30 Nov 1997 21:02:28 -0500 Received: from chaos.taylored.com (chaos.taylored.com [206.53.224.58]) by relay06.mail.aol.com (8.8.5/8.8.5/AOL-4.0.0) with SMTP id UAA26220 for ; Sun, 30 Nov 1997 20:46:15 -0500 (EST) Received: (qmail 4004 invoked by uid 1000); 1 Dec 1997 01:45:58 -0000 Delivered-To: majordom-og-xf-romantics@chaos.taylored.com Received: (qmail 3998 invoked by alias); 1 Dec 1997 01:45:58 -0000 Delivered-To: xf-romantics-outgoing@chaos.taylored.com Received: (qmail 3986 invoked by uid 1000); 1 Dec 1997 01:45:57 -0000 Received: (qmail 3979 invoked from network); 1 Dec 1997 01:45:54 -0000 Received: from pimaia4w.prodigy.com (198.83.18.139) by chaos.taylored.com with SMTP; 1 Dec 1997 01:45:54 -0000 Received: from mime4.prodigy.com (mime4.prodigy.com [192.168.254.43]) by pimaia4w.prodigy.com (8.8.5/8.8.5) with ESMTP id UAA18810 for ; Sun, 30 Nov 1997 20:46:01 - 0500 Received: (from root@localhost) by mime4.prodigy.com (8.6.10/8.6.9) id UAA14962 for xf-romantics@chaos.taylored.com; Sun, 30 Nov 1997 20:41:55 -0500 Message-Id: <199712010141.UAA14962@mime4.prodigy.com> X-Mailer: Prodigy Internet GW(v0.9beta) - ae01dm04sc03 From: ZQXH34B@prodigy.com (MISS MOLLY MO) Date: Sun, 30 Nov 1997 20:41:55, -0500 To: xf-romantics@chaos.taylored.com Subject: [XFR] ideas on how to survive during the week Sender: owner-xf-romantics@chaos.taylored.com Precedence: bulk Restrict: no-external-archive X-No-Archive: yes
