I began my training with the blade at age 6 along with my only brother and twin. Our father was a great swordsman, marked by the Heron. He was also a Captain of Her Majesty's Gaurd. We learned the arts of horsemanship and the lance by our 12th year, where we both excelled. My brother and I entered into Her Majesty's service in our 16th year as Cavalrymen. By our 22nd year my Brother had earned the rank of Lord-Captain of the Cavalry and I had become his Leuitenent. It was also during this year that the Trollocs raided our villiage in the Black Hills. Our parents were killed and our family home destroyed. We were ordered into the Blight to drive the beasts back. Our attack met numbers not seen organized since the Trolloc Wars and our division was decimated. My brother was cut down at my side by a Fade's Black Blade. I slew the Eyeless One and managed to pull by brother's body out of the fray. Those of us who survived managed to drive the horde back although of the three hundred that went only 50 survived. I carried my brother's body for two days on foot out of the blight and returned him to our Mother the ground.

Soon later, I was summoned to an Audience with the Queen. I was to be honored for leading the survivors out of the blight. I was offered the Captaincy left vacant by my brother's death, and a Lordship. I refused both, my destiny was no longer tied to this small battle. I asked that in return for my actions, I be released from service and oath to follow a greater path. My Queen hesitantly agreed and I was retired with Honor. After that I decided to leave the borderlands and dedicate my life to the ultimate destruction of the DO and his minions. I feel that the best way for me to do this is to join with the Aes Sedai and fight along side them at The Last Battle.
