The Value of Friendship

Farewell, Not Good-Bye
by Jaime Lynn Brigham

Thank you, friend, for being near,
Through times of sarrow and those of cheer,
From loafing days to wild nights,
From joyous laughter to stupid fights.
You stuck by, helped keep me strong.
You made me feel like I belong.
And now that it's time leave
All my heart can do is grieve.
But we must keeping moving on.
And remember it won't be long
Before our paths will cross again
For now and ever, my eternal friend.
