Our Heroes / Anti-Heroes
Elinor – The daughter of the slain local magistrate. She was supposed to be dead, too. Someone thought differently and saved her the only way they could before they were dispatched. She is a young woman left to the mercy of the Ventrue, a group that is now her family. Now she must hide from the people she knew all her life, for fear of them discovering her unlife.
Lailah – Young and eager, she was intrigued by the pagan studies of her mentor. She was brought into the new fold of kindred who follow their leader, Tremere. She spends a lot of time studying in her abandoned manor outside of town. Her newfound friend Angela has intruiged the other Kindred with her adamant pacifism, and Lailah has recently embraced a neophyte named Mary.
Vaclar – Exiled from eastern Europe, he brings a new perspective to the court of the new Prince. Offering his unique services, he bides his time and prepares for a challenge he knows will come. Vaclar holds certain reservations towards the neophyte Mary, who had staked him in an attempt to force him to embrace her. Fate had different plans, and he was found by Diego before Mary's plan could be carried out.
Roderick – "It was not me! It was the one-armed man!" One of his arms taken in combat, he proved to be an even more worthy swordsman: his energy was channeled into honing his swordplay to the point of perfection. His diligence caught the attention of a Brujah elder who brought him to the quest for rebuilding Carthage. Roderick’s recent excursions to and from Italy have been most curious.
Mathias – Crazy like the fox? No, just crazy, Mathias enjoys bringing "God’s wrath" to the sinful. He can always find the humor in any given situation, particularly when there’s been lots of blood spilled. He has recently been tormented by an apparition known only as the White Lady. "That’s Pretty Damn Funny."
Deigo de la Vega – A self-proclaimed caitiff, his interests in Dover are as yet unknown. A Spaniard with obvious Moorish heritage, Diego is one the few who really tries to understand Mathias. This and his dealings with the Kindred that control the nearby Abbey adds to the suspicions that surround him.
Gromylith – An ancient warrior from Cornwall, Gromylith was brought into the Brujah clan for her fighting abilities when her sire was impressed with her people’s ability to defeat his Roman troops. Her sire, who drops by every decade or so informed her of her "little brother", Roderick, who is now in Dover for undisclosed reasons. Gromylith has been asked to do the same.
Loel – Yes it’s a cave, but a very nice cave. Loel manages to hold onto a tiny village of people who have managed to dodge the spread of the Church. He lives in a contant state of fear that zealots will end his unlife with him tied to a burning pole.
