FACT FILE: KT-2 Provider
This is the tanker version of the T-2 Hercules.
"Tanker" is somewhat of a colloquialism these days, but the term
is used to describe any of a variety of underway replenishment vehicles.
In this case, the Provider can supply atmospheric gases for the life-support
systems of all SFMC aerospace craft. It can also recharge the charge packs
of any SFMC craft which make use of them. This extends the useful endurance
time of an aerospace vehicle immensely, and is useful for patrols and convoy
escorts. It is also useful for ferrying craft to distant bases.

The Equipment Rating System
The preceeding descriptions of aerospace craft use a rating
system, rather than precise numbers. This is to simplify the factsheets,
and to make it easier to understand how each specific aerospace craft compares
to others. A value of zero (0) means none, while a value of 1 means minimal
and 10 means maximum within a given statistic.
