My name's Eleanor but I also get called Lena (the first of my Pernese personas) and Anejo (one of my favourite rums - Bacardi Anejo). For the rest, I'm a 21-year-old pagan, with short dark hair and an overwhelming love of chocolate and good rum.
I've been a Pern fan for about five years now, thanks to my best mate Emma who lent me the books before I bought my own.
I'm also a big fan of Terry Pratchett, Mercedes Lackey, David Feintuch, Jean M. Auel and Jean Plaidy, most of whom get a small mention on this site. I regularly dress up in very strange, scanty clothes and go to the Rocky Horror Show (more details - and pictures - should be available soon ;^P).

I've been working as editorial assistant / feature writer / HTML author for the Warrington Guardian Series for two and a half years now but I'm about to start work with KLM uk, an airline, as webmaster. This involves leaving the north of England, where I've lived for much of my life (ignoring the time spent in Trinidad and Glasgow) and moving to ::ulp:: Essex.
I can often be found on alt.fan.pern and alt.fan.pratchett, where I'm a member of Gid's Harem (TM) and afpfianced to the delectable Brett Dixon.
