12" Count Dooku Wave

Target west in Madison had a case of these on the shelf this morning. Each case includes two each of Count Dooku, Zam Wesell, an Super Battle Droid. Count Dooku is a dead on likeness and there is really nothing to dislike about him. Zam's head is a little big for her body, but not as bad as the pictures make it look. I don't like how some of her outfit is painted on and some is cloth. The Super Battle Droid is pretty good, but would have been helped by having a swivel joint at his wrist so that he could hold his arms in the "firing gun" mode as seen in the movie.

TRU Landspeeder

TRU east in Madison had a case of their exclusive Landspeeder with Luke sets. Ray H. also reports seeing one of these at TRU west in Madison last night. The Luke figure is nothing special, but he does have elbow joints. The Landspeeder seems to be completely new. About the only thing that could have been reused is the windshield. I didn't expect this and it is a good surprise. It even comes with a long rifle that mounts to the side as seen in the movie. The packaging is very nice as well. Although open on four sides, it is constructed of heavy cardboard and seems quit durable.
