Saturday, May 15th:

Target Lowers Prices

I noticed today that both Madison area Targets have lowered their prices on figures. The price is now a competitive $6.79.

EP1 12" Figures

It looks like Target west in Madison had gotten in the EP1 12" figures recently. Qui-Gon and Jar Jar were in abundance. Darth Maul was noticeably missing.

Friday, May 14th:

More Fast Food Toys

Several e-mails have come in on these. I have now gotten the Anakin Viewer at Taco Bell. This is an under 3 toy. Also there is the Jar Jar Binks Squishy that is the under 3 toy at Pizza Hut. Then there is the report of finding Darth Maul at Taco Bell. It appears that Taco Bell doesn't have the posters yet. Lastly, if you have the nerve to ask for them, Pizza Hut has character stickers that are about 2 1/2" in diameter (I have 3 different ones).

Wednesday, May 12th:

Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut

The Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut promotion started today. The toys that I found were Anakin's Podracer at Taco Bell, Jar Jar Binks Squirter at KFC, and Lott Dodd's Walking Thrown at Pizza Hut. The cup toppers are very impressive. Anakin was found at Taco Bell, Amidala at KFC, and Yoda at Pizza Hut. Has anyone found others? If you have yet me know. Also, as the bottom picture shows, there are 3 pieces to the cup toppers. They are the cup itself showing the bottom part of the characters body, the figurine topper, and the extra large straw. Make sure you get all of the parts. I got the wrong cup at Taco Bell today.

In Line For Tickets

As you are probably aware, movie tickets went on sale today. There were TONS of people in line at Eastgate and the line wrapped around to the back of the theater. Some people were in line as early as 6:00pm Tuesday night. I was able to get a ticket for the midnight show in a THX theater so I am a very happy camper. Z104 was there giving out food and soda along with trying to get people to characters' voices. Just an amazing experience.

Monday, May 10th:

12" Darth Maul at Last

Wal-Mart east in Madison had one case of the EP1 12" figures today. I finally got that Darth Maul that I missed at TRU on the 3rd. Wal-Mart's price ($21.96) is a little higher than that of TRU's ($19.99). BTW, has anyone seen the 12" Amidala in Red Senate gown? This is one of the $60 dolls and is the only one that I have yet to see, but yet still shows up on eBay.
