This is just something that I came up with. There are times I have trouble sleeping, and when that happens, I start thinking. It really hurts my head too. But I started thinking up all these things and decided to put them on here just to take up some space. Plus, you might get a laugh out of it.
Why do 'so' and 'no' sound different from 'do' and 'to'?
How do you get an 'ef' sound from 'ph'??
Why do 'tough', 'enough' and 'laugh' have an 'ef' sound when there is no 'f' or even a 'ph'?
Why are there so many different sounds for vowels in the English language?
Why does everything bad happen on Mondays and Thursdays? (Those would be my bad days. Monday because it's Monday, Thursdays because you still have one more day until Friday.)
Which DID come first?? The chicken or the egg?(We believe that it is the chicken.)
Why do hot dogs come in packages of ten and hot dog buns in packages of eight?(We asked a hot dog person about that. He said it was so that people would have to buy more buns for the hot dogs. So now you know.)
Why does it cost 99 cents for 17 pieces of gum and a dollar for 20 pieces?(I asked about this one. I'm still looking into it.)
If Adam and Eve were the first man and woman on Earth, then who did Cain marry?(Upon this, I had a comment from a friend saying that it was probably Eve. But due to the fact that he was banished away and then came back with his wife, we believe that that theory would be impossible.)
How do they cram all that gram into Golden Grams?
In Jim Hensen's Muppets, what is Gonzo?(We're still looking into that.)
How does a mirror reflect images?
Why doesn't a mirror reflect the image of a vampire?
If a tree fell in the woods and no one was around, would it make a sound?(I say no because no one would be around to hear it. Unfortunately, a pest disagreed saying that it can still exist even if there's no one around. She started giving me examples on this. So to make her shut up, I just said I'd leave it as it is. I should take a tally though. E-mail me with responses.)
What is the sound of one hand clapping? (Umm.... We agreed that it was a flopping sound.)
What does the Tooth Fairy need with our teeth?
And why did my little sister get five dollars and I only got one?(We are under the impression that she probably won the lottery and is trying to buy off kids' teeth for the purpose that she has none. Also, when they rot, she needs new ones. Apparently, the price of a tooth increased since I was a kid. I'm kind of angry at that. Next thing you know, she'll be giving out $10s and $20s. Maybe even $50s and $100s.)
How much candy does the Easter Bunny have to give?
There are three words that end with 'gry'. 'Angry' and 'hungry'. What's the third?(From what I've heard, 'gry' is an actual word. Could someone please look it up and give me the definition? I haven't had any luck finding it.)
How can Sleeping Beauty sleep for a hundred years and still look as young as she did?
What is Cinderella's real name?(This was looked into. It's Ella. Though in the most recent version of the story, they said that it was Danielle. Cinderella was just what the step-sisters called her.)
Why is it that in almost every fairy tale, the princess/fair maiden is thought of as helpless?(I just think that really sucks!)
Why is it that in nearly every version of Cinderella the step-sisters are both really ugly and evil? (I liked the new version with Drew Barrymore. One's beautiful and wicked, the other's not as pretty but really nice.)

What did people go back to when the design for the drawing board went wrong? (Think of the phrase "Back to the drawing board.")
This is all I could come up with for now. E-mail me if you can come up with more. It would be most appreciated. *G*
