DOUBLE Reviews
The following reviews are reviews sent to me that I already have in the reviews section. So now please feel free to send me any reviews, even if I have them already.
FRIDAY THE 13TH:
I think this is one of the best of the series, mainly
because it could really happen. Everything after part 1 could
never happen except maybe part 2 if the theories of Jason not
even drowning are true. I really love this movie and it is truly
a classic for the horror/slasher genre. (Review - Mr Voorhees)
FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2:
This is a pretty good sequel in the series. Mrs Voorhees'
son Jason comes back to get revenge on the counselors of Crystal
Lake for killing his mother. This is a fantastic series in my
book.(Review - Mr Voorhees)
FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 3:
This is where the trademark hockey mask comes into play.
Sure the 3D crap is stupid, but I bet in the theaters it could've
been really cool. Let's see, more teenagers get slaughtered and
Jason is killed only to return in another sequel. (Review - Mr
Voorhees)
FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 4:
Jasons "dead" body gets taken to the hospital
where he escapes and returns to kill lots more teenagers and gets
taken down by Corey Feldman at the end. I like this one a lot.
(Review - Mr Voorhees)
FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 5:
ok Jason's not in this, but it's close enough unlike
Halloween 3. This movie had the most kills where
"Jason" the ambulance driver kills in revenge for his
sons death. The ending makes you think Tommy will be the killer
in part 6, but it must've just been a dream. (Review - Mr
Voorhees)
FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 6:
This is my favorite of the series. I don't know why but it
is. It starts off with Tommy driving back to Crystal Lake to make
sure Jasons body is in the grave. Sure enough it is, but Tommy
gets crazy and starts messing with the body and the pole he
sticks through him gets struck by lightning, reviving the maggot
filled corpse to it's zombie splendor. Anyway to make a long
review short, Jason kills a lot of people, spares some young
kids, and dies again. Very good movie. (Review - Mr Voorhees)
FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 7:
Tina has psychic powers that she killed her dad with a long time
ago. She goes back to the site which happens to be Crystal Lake
to undergo some therapy. Of course she gets pissed at something
because of the corrupt doctor and tries to bring her father back
from the dead with her powers, only to bring our hero Jason back
from his watery grave. He kills lots of people, Jason and Tina
get into some weird psychic shit and Tina wins by finally
bringing her dad back to drag Jason back under. It's really a
sweet movie if you think about it. Jason goes through a lot in
this movie. (Review - Mr Voorhees)
FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 8:
ok, this is where it gets crazy. Jason takes a trip to
Manhattan, but only after about an hour of riding around on some
stupid boat that left Crystal Lake. He kills people really good
in this one and he looks really cool, but I'll warn you the
ending is really really dumb. (Review - Mr Voorhees)
JASON GOES TO HELL:
This is definitely the worst of the series. The beginning makes
you think this will be a cool movie, but you get tricked after
the FBI or whatever blows him up. After that the movie goes
drastically downhill. Jasons soul is transferred body to body
until he comes busting out of some dead body near the end. That
is another cool part, because it is actually Jason, not some
stupid coroner or guy running around, although I must admit this
has to be the bloodiest of the series. (Review - Mr Voorhees)
HALLOWEEN:
This is another classic. I really liked this movie.
Michael escapes Smiths Grove Sanitarium to return to Haddonfield
to kill the rest of his family. Not that much blood, but it's not
needed for this movie. This is definitely the best of them all.
(Review - Mr Voorhees)
HALLOWEEN H20:
haha, this movie was a silly joke to me. This is the worst
of the series excluding part 3. I think every movie now is just
trying to be a clone of Scream, and this is a fine example of it.
There were a few good scenes, but overall it wasn't that great.
(Review - Mr Voorhees)
SCREAM:
I'll admit this movie regenerated the genre, but I
personally don't think every damn movie should be just like it.
Every "big" horror movie after this minus Bride of
Chucky has been a clone of Scream, the list includes H20, Scream
2 of course, IKWYDLS, and I'm sure several more to follow, lets
just hope this williamson fuck doesn't have anything to do with
Freddy Vs Jason. (Review - Mr Voorhees)
THE EVIL DEAD:
I love this movie. It starts off with some teenagers going
up to a cabin, but then the crazy shit starts to happen. this is
a very bloody movie, but it's also very very freaky. If I was a
little kid when I saw this it probably would've scared me for a
long time. (Review - Mr Voorhees)
EVILD DEAD 2: DEAD BY DAWN:
This is the sequel to the Evil Dead. This was also a very
good movie. It was also very similar to part 1, except it was
funnier, and several character changes but you know whats
supposed to be similar when you watch them both. Ash has lots of
funny things to say in this one unlike part 1 where it was meant
to be scary.(Review - Mr Voorhees)
ARMY OF DARKNESS:
this is the 3rd in the Evil Dead series. It's very funny,
but not scary at all. There's some good blood scenes. In this one
Ash is sent back in time and he is sent as "the chosen
one" to get the necronomicon from the woods. He says one of
the words wrong and a battle between the living and dead ensues.
(Review - Mr Voorhees)
