TOLERANCE

WITH PINKY AND THE BRAIN

TOLERANCE IS: sympathy or indulgence for beliefs or practices differing from or conflicting with one's own

Sum up Pinky and The Brains relationship in one word: Opposites. Pinky, the tall skinny rat, is hyper-active and has the mental intellegence of a peanut, while his best friend and partner in global domination, The Brain, is a dry-humoured genius who is determined to take control over the entire world and its human habitants.
Their opposite personalities brings about major personality conflicts between them. Brain is tolerant, at times, of Pinky's absurd comments and sayings. (Narf! is a favorite saying of Pinky's)
FOR EXAMPLE: " Brain: Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Pinky?
Pinky: Uh... yeah, Brain, but where are we going to find rubber pants our size?

Brain has become very tolerant of Pinky's high jinx and low mentality, as it has become a part of his daily routine. He has learned to accept Pinky and love him for who and what he is, despite the large gap between intellegences. However, Brain can become rather upset and break out into a violent rage where Pinky is usually attacked with some kind of blunt object. But hey, what cartoon is complete without an anvil here and there?
