The most popular droids from the Star Wars films are a model example of respect! It all begins as so:
A LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY...
The droid duo were onboard Princess Leia Organa's battleship
when it was intercepted by Darth Vader's fleet. Princess Leia hid
the plans to the Death star inside of R2-D2, and they were able to
escape the ship in a life pod landing on Tatooine,
the planet they were orbiting. When they landed, they set off in search
of some sort of help, but R2-D2 had something more important
in mind, to find Obi-Wan Kenobi. The two droids had an argument
about which direction to go, and they parted ways. The
separation, however, didn't last very long. They were both picked
up by the same group of jawas, R2, being ambushed, and shot
with and Ion blaster, 3PO, by seeing the Jawa transport,
and waving for help.

For Example, C-3PO is a very stubborn and whiney droid and he usually panics and wishes to hide when trouble starts. R2-D2 likes to get involved, actually its part of his job, anyway he is built to aid in situations where technical problems arise. These two droids are almost completely different, except when it comes to accepting and respecting each other..even though it may be a different story for 3PO who constantly complains about how hard life is, especially with R2 as a friend!
