Mulder rushed into the office, and Scully looked up in
confusion.
"Mulder, what's wrong?"
"They're everywhere, Scully. Everywhere!"
Scully raised an eyebrow. "What is?"
"The Marshmallow Peeps! We've got to stop them,
before it's too late!"
"But why? After all, they're just sugar-coated
marshmallows. What could be so bad about
them?"
"They're evil! Think about it...why would anyone eat
one? It's been commonly reported that
they are only edible a year after purchase, and then,
only if they are left out of the package.
Furthermore, scientists have yet to find one natural
ingredient in them." He stopped as he
played back his words. "That's it! They must be
exerting a mind control field that makes
people eat them. We have to let the public know!"
"Mulder, I don't think you realize something."
She reached into a drawer and pulled out a flat
yellow box. "Peeps are my favorite candy. Would you
like one?"
