To these mountains, is where Captain Corsair goes to get the ice that he provides for his Lady and his guests...bringing it down on sledges from the mountains and storing it in a thick wooden shed kept up against the cool shadowed wall of the cliffs, close to the Lighthouse. We appreciate the benefits of these mountains. It enables the Captain to accomodate the wants and needs of his family and friends, making Land Ho and the Lighthouse a pleasant and enjoyable place to be.
