Tales of Lassane
During the War of the Gods, at the place where Kana, goddess of Darkness, met her end, it is said that a mighty tree rose up from the ground. This tree was a sign, a promise that one day the goddess of chaos and shadow would return to drag all of Lassane into eternal night.
The Way of the Tree (also known as the Theodist Cult) is the second religion in Isian. Based in Rhod, a city in northern Theodrin, the Theodist Cult is a dark religion, filled with arcane magic and bloody sacrifices. Led by Alesander Reglis, the High Templar, the Cult exerts its will through cruelty and force, opposed only by the Bringers of Light...

*Templar have three areas of specialization: Clerical, Arcane, Weaponry. When a person reaches Adept rank, they choose their Specialization, and that determines their Templar title.
To be a Theodist:
All Theodists are required to have ST11+, Clerical Rank 4+, Military Rank 1+, Power Investiture 4, Patron (+25), Duty(-20), Leadership, Strategy-9, Tactics-9, Survival (any), Theology (Theodist Cult), and one combat/weapon skill at 12 or DX+1, whichever is higher.
Templar Knights (Weapon specialization) are required to have ST12+, Combat Reflexes, and two combat/weapon skills at 12 or DX+1, whichever is higher, in addition to the above.
Templar Mages (Arcane specialization): IQ 12+ and Magery, in addition to the above. They can learn any two of the four elemental colleges, Light/Darkness spells, and Knowledge spells.
Templar Clerics (Clerical specialization): IQ 12+ and Clerical Magic (+15). They can only learn from the following colleges: Communication and Empathy, Enchantment, Knowledge, Making and Breaking, and Mind Control
Note: Magic-users in the Theodist Cult cannot learn Healing spells! Such is the price for siding with the dark goddess. Also, Theodists are not well-liked outside of Theodrin. They have a Reputation-2 (-10) and are at -2 to all reaction rolls on any foreign lands unless they disguise themselves!
