On a secluded island in the South Pacific stands three strange statues that are known as the Foo Creatures. Each statue sits facing one of the compass directions North, East, and West, from what archeologists could tell there was at one time a fourth statue that faced South but all that is left in its place is a pile of rubble. Legends tell of an ancient race of people that use to dwell on the island and who created the Foo Creatures to protect them from evil. The current residents of the island claim that the statues awoke recently when a nearby village was threatened by a gigantic snake which they dispatched easily and returned to their spots.
