The focus for some of the underhives most hard fought battles was back in the hands of the red Army faction (RAF). Following on from last week's battle, it turned out that the Spandex Militia had been driven out of the settlement by the action's of the RAF and Caine's Bitter, Twisted & Paranoid Company, leaving it an Open Town. On hearing this, the two gangs returned to the settlement each hoping to claim it. However they also found the Militia returning as well. Again, a three way fight ensued. Manuel, the last peon of Tatterenda, was caught up in the fighting as he desparately tried to get away. The rest of the population had already fled, hoping to get some peace and quiet elsewhere in the hive.
The Militia attacked Caine's in strength causing many casualtiues. Caine's response was almost as deadly with the Militia taking casualties. Caught out in the open, Caine's also came under fire from the RAF and eventually Caine gave the order to retreat. However, before fleeing the scene, Abel took out Pick with a heavy plasma gun shot, which blew her off the gantry to the ground. The RAF then moved in on the faltering Militia and took all but twoi of them out before Pernicia's iron will gave way and she ordered a retreat leaving the RAF in control of the badly battered settlement.
Following on from the battle, it appears that Caine has disappeared into the underhive with his dog, tracking the terrified Manuel, accusing him of being the jelly and ice cream thief. The fallout from the battle is also being felt by the Militia. Abel, the top man in what was left of Caine's gang organised the public executions of the infamous Pick, and also Dangerosa, both of whom had been captured by Caine's gang. Its not clear what all these deaths and disappearances will mean for the two gangs, but it looks like a new chapter in the underhive is about to begin.
