For our class on the various myths and legends of the British isles, we read various novels and books, pertaining to the Celtic mythology and religion, the surrounding area of Ireland and Scotland, the influx of the Christian Religion, folktale, Arthurian Legends and modern treatments on classical mythology.
For our paper, we had the option to write a ballad or a myth. I chose to write a myth. But not just write a myth in the Celtic style, but to pretend that I found the myth in some dusty old tome and was translating it and relating it to my readers. So here it is, my myth. Or collection of myths, as the case may be.
