Fallen Friends

“Noooooo”, Screamed Janira as she moved for the crumbled body of her sword brother. The DarkHounds were coming together from the ooze of their lifeless juices. Moving her blade in deadly grace she cleared a path around her fallen friend and the Aes Sedai that stood at his side fighting for her life.

“Is he alive?”, Janira said to the Aes Sedai as she moved easily from form to form laying dead man beasts where they came from.

“He is alive, barely. If I can’t get him to a safe area fast he will not live for long.” Chiya said that in a matter of fact tone, but there was a hint of regret and pain in the under tone of her voice

Janira looked the grim situation over with her scout eyes. There was not much hope in getting Gangorn to a safe area. DarkHounds were regenerating faster than ever and the Shadow poured from cave entrances like water from a well.

From the far side she could see the Asha’man Aneid and the Far Dareis Mai Dar’tagni, they looked to be surrounded by dark filth but holding their own. Her bond mate Rocar was just a pace away from her , he wove thick balls of Fire that engulfed trollocs where they stood. It was a grim outlook indeed.

A new yell from a previously passage from the left alerted her to the presence of Aemon and Serian. The two BladeMaster’s wove a deep path into the throng of Shadowspawn. A small chance to save Gangorn came to light. The way the two Gaidin came from was where the water was.

“Rocar, clear a path for us.” Chiya read the thoughts of Janira.

The large balls of searing fire took the trollocs that were trying to block their way, down in charred heaps.

“Asha’man, to the left.”, Janira looked to Dar’tagni, who acknowledged her words as she flicked her spear in an attempt to push the DarkHound away. The Asha’man, seemed to be bringing the Earth alive, he got the Ogier made floors of the reservoir to grab the burning feet of the existing DarkHounds. The DarkHounds numbered the same as they did when the party first encountered them.

Chiya stopped her weaves of attack as she looked to be holding the limp body of Gangorn off the ground and pushing him through the path that Aemon, Serian and her wove. Aneid and the Far Dareis Mai slowly made their way to the party.

“The group backed into the deep chasm of the caveway that lead to the water system. The blades of the Warders kept the Shadow at bay and the weavings from the two male Aes Sedai took out any brave creatures that decided on a suicide run. “Aneid, can you collapse the cave walls and ceiling.” The words of Rocar rang into the cave.

For an answer the walls began to trace the shimmering properties that the Asha’man was known to create. The walls came alive and began to close in on each other. Rocar kept the shadow to a distance with thick weaves of Fire. The group backed away as the last of the walls and ceiling closed up, locking thew Shadow out and them into the reservoir passage.
