![]() Life ![]() The twisting turning concourse of tunnels all looked the same to Aneid. He had woven Air, Spirit and Fire to
produce a small ball of glowing light. Aneid kept to the rear with Serian Gaidin and Dar’tagni, while Jan and
Aemon Gaidin kept the front easily in pace. Rocar Sedai held a dangerous amount of Saidin, and held a glowing
ball to light the way. Chiya had Gangorn up off the ground in a laying position, she guided the defenseless Gaidin down the hall. The
entire time her eyes flicked down to the motionless body that rode the currents of Air like a cloud bed. Aneid felt
a twinge in his cold heart, “Here let me through”, Aneid said as he stood next to Chiya, and her friend Gaidin
Gangorn. “I am not talented in healing but I do have influence with metal.” Aneid said as he met the eyes of the
Aes Sedai who stood between the wounded and almost dead Warder and he. “I can remove the metal with out
damaging the flesh around it. There will be a need for quick healing once that chunk of foul steel is removed.”
Aneid met the look of the protective Aes Sedai with a level look of his own. “We no be having the time for this Asha’man. The Foul ones are not too far behind.” The Illaner female stated
with a hurried look to the passage from whence they came. “This man will not last much longer Janira Gaidin.” Aneid said to the Warder then he looked to Chiya, “It is up to
you, but he will not last to see the outside.” Aneid waited a moment before the Aes Sedai stepped to the side and
the limp body of the Gaidin was lowered to the ground. “This will take some time, I suggest all but Chiya and I
prepare for company.” Aneid said that to all but meant it for the Aes Sedai Rocar. “Can you ward?” The nod from the man was the answer, “I will do what must be done Asha’man. You do what has to be done,
and I wish you luck.” With that the tall Aes Sedai strode to the awaiting Warders and the Maiden. Aneid looked to Chiya as they knelt next to the wounded man. “He will need healing the instant the metal is
removed.” If you have the ability, keep a healing Delve on him and let me know how he fares.” The Aes Sedai
nodded then Aneid’s hairs on his arms prickled up in the notification that she not only held the source but she was
in fact channeling. Aneid Seized Saidin and felt the tempered steel in the mans gullet. Feeling the Matrix of the
steel was not strong, this was not a good piece of steel, but it was good enough to kill a man. Aneid began to misalign the Matrix making the steel weak and pliable to his will. The faint sounds of steel clashing
and gurgled screams made an echo on the walls. “They have engaged the Shadow”, Chiya said in a serene voice.
Aneid grunted and worked as fast as he could, he called to the metal, forcing it to become almost liquid in state.
He beckoned it to come to him, the flows were second nature to him, but he still did not know how to teach them
to anyone. The metal started to pour out of the gashing wound near the mans chest, “We are losing him, hurry”,
The Aes Sedai’s voice no longer sounded serene, it was more of panic. Aneid pulled the liquid type of metal from
the wound and nodded to the Aes Sedai to start the healing, “Now Chiya Sedai, move fast.” Aneid searched the
body for any residual metal he might have missed. There was none and he stood shakily. The Aes Sedai did not notice, her hands were placed over the mans face and she stared into him with sweat
starting to pour out of her. For that matter he looked as if he could ring his topcoat. Light that was foolish, I
have never called metal in that manner. The ringing of metal on metal came closer and more in intensity. Aneid
composed himself and headed in that direction. The Aes Sedai still needed him so he did not venture to far down.
The Growls of the DarkHounds came to his Saidin enhanced hearing and Aneid Shivered slightly.
