ELFIN'S ARK

An homage to the four footed creatures
who share my life, heart and hearth.

From the time I turned 19, I've always had at least two furry companions. Through the years many have come and gone, either to a new less hectic home or to their well earned rest. From TiMine to CJ, from Gypsy to Rover, they've all occupied a special place in my heart.

Without further ado here is the Zoo on parade, all 11 of them singly and in groups who presently share and add to the fast paced and lively atmosphere of our fair abode ;-D.

Here is Sheba, the one who started the whole kitten routine in our home. The curious kitten you see staring straight at the camera is Rover, the most current proud mommy.

Presenting on the left, Rover with her second litter of kittens.
On the right we have Patch, the first dog to ever join our household and also the wiliest furball I've ever known. Doesn't her life look tough? ;-D

Here are the kittens at all of two days old. Named within a few hours of birth, we have Black Jack, Covu, Simon and Coal. By comparison on the right, we have CJ our ruling queen who's reached the ripe old age of 12 and the only cat presently not related to all the others.

Kind of get the idea my dogs have an easy life? Jazz is here enjoying her siesta while Smokey on the other hand takes one of her many daily perimeter checks. Her nickname is "Scaredy Cat" but she still insists on checking everything out.

Lucky takes a break from her nap to get at one of those bothersome itchy spots while Venture lolls in her favorite room, the kitchen!

Ahhh the life. I swear, my pets spend more time relaxing that I get to in a whole month!! But in the department of offering lots of unconditional love and loads of happiness, they're definately the tops! ;-D
