G'Kar: My Favorite Character from Babylon 5

From day one, aka the first episode, I liked G'Kar. He was funny, flirtatious, but serious about his people. He has always wanted nothing but to improve Narn and to keep it safe for the people there. His hatred for the Centauri has driven him for years and years and once he was face to face with Ambassador Londo Mollari, all of the anger finally let loose so much so that Mollari (another favorite) caved in and began dealing with The Shadows (a rather hairy sort of beings that you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley even on a bright sunny day). Mollari made a rather nasty deal with the Shadows. He (Mollari) would allow The Shadows all the room they needed in turn for taking the Narn Homeworld again. Well, as you may guess, this DID NOT sit well with G'Kar or any of the Narns and G'Kar eventually started an underground weapons resource center on Babylon 5 to get Narn back on its feet. This occurred only after the Narn Homeworld surrendered to the Centauri who were using weapons of mass destruction to destroy Narn.

Due to stress and desperation, G'Kar was trying to find a way to undermined the Centauri. He happened upon a drug that enhances the mind and allows you to dig deep into the thoughts of others. G'Kar, of course, went after Londo despite all of the problems the drug seemed to be giving him. Once he reached Londo, he beat the CRAP out of him and then dug DEEP into his mind. He saw everything that Londo had ever done and everything Londo had planned for the immediate future. Once he had found this, both Londo and G'Kar passed out and G'Kar began dreaming (which was enhanced greatly by the drug) and found the answers he had been searching for all this time. Once revived, G'Kar was a new person and although he had been of a spiritual mind before, G'Kar began his life anew. He became an enlightened being, a poet, a priest, and a hero. Being of the Third Circle of the Kha'Ri, G'Kar was asked to be Narn's Leader once Narn was freed but turned down the position. When asked why, he said he has seen what power can do and basically is not interested in becoming that person. G'Kar had been an avid follower of the religious leader G'Quan but began studying the Book of G'Quan fervently. All of G'Kar's intentions were strictly selfless, courageous, and bold. His character is the most heart-warming and relentless of all on Babylon 5. It is not completely known of the fate of G'Kar but in a recurring dream, G'Kar and Londo strangle each other to death on the Centauri thrown where Londo has become Emperor.
