-The soundtrack is finally going to be out! The release date is October 19th, songs include: "Temptation Waits" by Garbage, "It Doesn't Matter" from Alison Krauss & Union Station and "Virgin State of Mind" from K's Choice. Singles will include "Teenage FBI" by indie-rock kings Guided By Voices, Bif Naked's "Lucky" and the UK smash "I Quit" from newcomers Hepburn. Other songs featured on the record are "Strong" from Buffy fan fave Velvet Chain, "Keep Myself Awake" from Black Lab, "Wild Horses" by The Sundays, the fitting "Transylvanian Concubine" from Rasputina, the show's theme performed by Nerf Herder and original score by Christopher Beck.
-The unaired episode, "Earshot", will be televised in the U.S. on September 21st right before the season premiere.
-Buffy's season premiere in the United States will be on October 5th. "Angel" will premiere right after Buffy.
-The 1999 Sunnydale High School yearbook is now in stores!!! Go to your local bookstore and purchase one now, its filled with pictures, quotes from characters, and much more!
-The third issue of the official Buffy the Vampire Slayer magazine has been out for a while and you might know that it featured an interview with Robia LaMorte (the actress who played Jenny Calendar). Well, Robia will be guest starring on the NBC show "The Pretender" Saturday, March 20th, 8/7c for all those interested in this talented actress.
-BTW, for those who don't know there is a Buffy the Vampire Slayer official magazine out. The second issue is on stands now wherever magazines are sold.
Dark Horse is also putting out an offical Buffy comic. So, check those out at your local comicbook store.
-'Tis the season for reruns.....unfortunately. However, we have at least two new episodes being aired this December. On the 8th will be "The Wish" and on the 15th will be "Amends", which is being refered to as the Buffy Christmas episode if you've seen the Dial 1-800-Collect commercials with Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz. If you want even a little information on what's coming up this season I would recommend either going to E! online and looking under Wanda's column or checking out my Spoilers! page in my Episode Guide.
-On September 15th 3 Buffy tapes will be available wherever video tapes are sold. The tapes will be $14.95 each or the whole set at $30. The epsisodes featured will be:
1st Tape- "Welcome to the Hell-Mouth" and "The Harvest"
2nd Tape- "Witch" and "Never Kill A Boy On The First Date"
3rd Tape- "Angel" and "The Puppet Show"

-The buzz around the Net is that the spin-off will be starring Angel called "Angel" about his adventures in hell.
-"Entertainment Weekly" in their April 3, 1998 issue reported that the WB is already talking about creating a spin-off of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" with the show's producers, Twentieth Century Fox, Joss Whedon, and David Greenwalt. If the new series goes forward according to plan than the show would debut in fall of 1999 and the Twentieth would demand a 13 episode commitment from the WB.
-Coexecutive producer David Greenwalt also produces "The X-Files".
-Brian Thompson who played Luke in the premiere episode of Buffy and the Judge during the second season has a recurring role on "The X-Files".
-Mercedes McNab who plays one of Cordelia's snobby friends in "Invisible Girl" and "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered" has been in both of the recent "Addams Family" movies as, guess what? A snobby blonde girl who picks on people.
-Charisma Carpenter who plays Cordelia is named after a tacky perfume from the 1970's.
-Seth Green who plays Oz on the show and the sometime director Bruce Seth Green are not related.
-Seth Green was most recently on the big screen in "Austin Powers".
-Seth Green is no stranger to television he has guest starred on "SeaQuest DSV" and was a regular on the short lived "Byrds of Paradise", which also starred Jennifer Love Hewitt who is in a movie with Seth that will be released later this year entitled "Can't Hardly Wait".
-Mark Metcalf who played the Master last season has since guest starred on such television shows as "Ally McBeal" and "Star Trek Voyager".
-Before getting their roles on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" Alyson Hannigan did a commercial for McDonalds and Sarah Michelle Gellar did a commercial for Burger King.
-The snobby character Cordelia is named after a girl who Joss Whedon's wife went to high school with who was also very nasty.
-Buffy Summers lives at 1630 Revello Drive, Sunnydale, California.
-Joss Whedon the creator of "BtVS" has written such movies as: "Alien 4: Resurrection", the Academy Award-nominated "Speed", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", and "Toy Story".
-Joss Whedon wrote for the television sitcom "Roseanne" for a year.
-Mr. Whedon felt that one of the best descriptions of the show was when TV Guide said it was "My So-Called Life" meets "The X-Files".
-Buffy and Angel were labeled "Most Tragic Love Story" in the Valentine's edition of TV Guide.
-SMG won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Billboard Awards for her performance in "I Know What You Did Last Summer".
