11. "Doomed"


While Buffy and Riley grapple to come to terms with what they now know about each other, the reopening of the Sunnydale Hellmouth sends Buffy and the gang back to the remains of high school to prevent impending apocalypse. Meanwhile, Spike has lost all will to live without the ability to kill, but he grows heartened by the approaching end of the world. However, Spike discovers that he can still fight and kill, just not humans. He can hurt fellow demons, which puts him in a better mood. Buffy and Riley prevent the end of the world (business as usual) and Riley seems able to deal with a super-hero girlfriend.
