WORK HISTORY:
Sam was a Flight officer has experience in F16’s in Kuwait. She has Ph.D Quantum Mechanics, and is a theoretical astrophysicist. Sam also worked on the Stargate two years before Daniel did and felt that she should have gone on the first mission. Sam’s team also tried other destinations after Daniel was ‘lost’ on Abydos though none worked. After closing of the Stargate, she was transferred to the Pentagon were she was involved in research. She has worked out a program to compensate for stellar shift in the wormhole network.
SHORT BACKGROUND:
Sam Carter is a Captain in the Air Force she has had prior knowledge of the Stargate and is allowed to go through the Stargate on the mission to get Daniel. Now she is part of SG-1 where being a female officer can be of help or a hindrance. She doses a lot of the science research.
