Kithra of the Northern Steppes

Kithra hails from the Northern Steppes, a small section of lands to the Northwest of The Theocracy of the Pale, on the Thillonrian Peninsula, once the daughter of a prominent barbarian tribe thereabouts (Clan of the Polar Wyrm). Her father, having no sons to inherit his title, masqueraded her as his son for most of her 18 summers. It was at the Test of Manhood, a grueling and cruel test of survival amongst the peaks, that her secret was revealed. Easily besting all the males of the Tribe, she was cursed by the Tribal Shaman, her long standing enemy, and exiled. She now wanders the Civilized Lands.

Kithra's temper is legendary, as befits a berserker warrior. She swings her sword for coin, but her greatest desire is to ride alongside Tang the Horrific, tormenting the borders of Iuz. She was rebuffed by the nomads, who sneered at a woman wielding a blade, yet still holds this desire, and wanders about, seeking experience and valorous deeds to enhance her reputation.

She is of nearly pure Suloise (Human) stock, and stands very tall, over 6 feet, and has blond hair, and crystal blue eyes, like many of her kin. Outfitted in bloodred platemail, she wields Valkyrie, a razor sharp, enchanted long sword, and a short sword in her left hand.

Kithra is very beautiful, but aloof to the overtures of Men, preferring them on the end of her blade.

Forthright, honest and blunt, she is quick to anger, or to laughter. Drink with her, or fight her, its all the same to Kithra of the Northern Steppes.
