9 million years BC - The beginning of the third Cybertronian War. Megatron
leads a group of Decepticons against the peaceful citizens of Cybertron.
In the battles that followed, Orion Pax and his friends Aeriel and Dion
were seriously damaged. Each were rebuilt by a young scientist known as
Alpha Trion. Orion Pax became the renowned leader of the Autobots, Optimus
Prime. Aeriel became the valiant resistance fighter Elita-One and Dion
became Optimus' best friend and confidant, Ironhide.

7 million years BC - The unaffiliated Constructions, the creators of
Crystal City, betray their long-time friend Omega Supreme in favor of
Megatron's ideas of conquest. They trick Omega into leaving his post and
destroy Crystal City and flee Cybertron with Omega chasing them across the
galaxy.

4 million BC - A group of Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, in desperate
need of energy, leave their home planet of Cybertron to search for more in
the galaxy. The Decepticons, led by Megatron, launch an attack on the
Autobot's ship, named the Ark, damaging it severely. The Ark goes out of
control and plummets into a nearby planet where it imbeds itself into the
side of a dormant volcano, deactivating everyone inside.

1984 AD

January - Mount St. Hillary suddenly becomes active again and an eruption
happens to reactive the Ark's main computer, Teletran One. It sends out a
Skyspy probe to scan the current population, finding suitable forms to
repair the deactivated Transformers. Skywarp is repaired into a F-15 and
he proceeds to reactivate Megatron and the other Decepticons. As the
Decepticons leave the Ark, Starscream takes a few parting shots at it but
the subsequent explosion knocks Optimus Prime into the way of Teletran's
repair beam so he gets reactivated as well. He reactivates the other
Autobots and the war begins on earth.

After setting up a temporary base in the Nevada desert, the Decepticons
begin to raid the earth for resources to send back to Cybertron. After
raiding an oil platform, Sherman Dam, the Burma ruby mines, the Alaskan
pipeline and an air force base, the Decepticon prepare to return to
Cybertron. Their plans are thwarted though by Mirage and the Decepticons'
space ship crashes into the Pacific Ocean.

March - After millions of attempts to contact Megatron from Cybertron,
Shockwave manages to get through and informs Megatron of the dire energon
need of their home planet. So the Decepticons attempt to discover a way to
send energon back home. They discover a new technology called the space
bridge and Megatron succeeds in sending energon cubes back to Cybertron
although the other Decepticons believe he perished.

April - Months after the Transformers have been reactivated, the humans
have begun to create weapons to try to combat the Decepticons. However,
these weapons failed miserably having very little to no effect.

July - The Decepticons, in their attempt to tap into the earth's core at
the north pole, uncover an old friend of Starscream who was buried into
the ice after a freak snowstorm threw him off course four million years
ago -- Skyfire. After initially spending some time as a Decepticon,
Skyfire converted into an Autobot, helping to drive off the Decepticons.
However, in the battle, Skyfire is reburied under the ice.

August - Tremors around the Ark cause the Autobots to discover a cavern
where they find the fossils of a few dinosaurs from millions of years ago.
After doing some research, the Autobots decide to make their own versions.
They had brought several personality units with them on the Ark and
planned to install them into the powerful bodies of the Dinobots. However,
the crash had mixed up the personality units and the laser cores of five
unruly, aggressive and insubordinate Autobots were mistakenly placed in
the huge, powerful bodies.

October - Megatron tries to trick the Dinobots to turn against the
Autobots and to attack Optimus Prime. After initially getting them to
rebel, the Dinobots realize the errors of their way and return to the
Autobots.

November - The Autobots, finding that they need more firepower against the
Decepticons, return to the north pole where the uncover Skyfire. They find
that his body has been completely destroyed but his laser core still
functions. They rebuild his body and give him a new name: Jetfire.

1985

February - The Decepticons form an alliance with an evil earth scientist,
Dr. Archeville, in a plan to take over the planet. After gaining control
of the humans through a hypno-chip, the Decepticons manage to use the
space bridge to transport Cybertron into Earth's orbit. This results in
massive destruction of the planet, billions of dollars in losses and
deaths in the hundred thousands as the Decepticons use the humans to
collect the raw energy. The Autobots manage to blow up Megatron's space
ship as he tries to return to Cybertron with the energy, sending the
planet hurtling out of orbit toward Jupiter.

March - The Autobots, thinking Megatron is dead from the explosion, begin
to rebuild the earth slowly while the Decepticons are in disarray without
their leader. Through efforts of all the Autobots, the earth begins to
look somewhat normal again.

August - The Constructicons arrive from Cybertron as the first set of
reinforcements. Megatron uses them to try to destroy Teletran One as he
challenges Optimus Prime to an honor duel. The Dinobots manage to drive
them back but the Autobots get their first glimpse of the gestalt form in
Devastator.

1986

March - In the island of Bali, a freak earthquake activates a Decepticon
escape module's idento-computer and adapts its inhabitants to native forms
to help them survive. This group, called the Insecticons, make a shaky
deal with Megatron and the other Decepticons to join them.

May - The Autobots try to control the Insecticons from their constant
attacks on farms and cities for energy/food but are unable to stop the
increasing horde. Millions of dollars in lost crops and damages result.

September - The Decepticons, with the aid of the Constructicons, take over
New York City, destroying the buildings to create their New Cybertron.
Damages were reported in the millions and several thousand people were
killed before order was restored.

April - The second set of reinforcements arrive from Cybertron for the
Decepticons, bolstering their forces until Omega Supreme arrives on earth,
carrying the Autobot reinforcements, as he tries to track down the
Constructicons.

June - Megatron implants a device on the Autobots' recharging chambers
which made them turn evil and to attack an air force base, destroying a
large number of jets. The Autobots were eventually converted back to
normal, but the anti-Autobot sentiments grew across the U.S.

November - A greedy human politician, in an effort to gain more power, is
fooled by Megatron into believing that the Autobots are in fact evil. Sean
Berger tapes a video of the Autobots attacking an oil field and they are
placed on trial where they are found guilty. They are banished from earth
while the Decepticons are extolled as heroes. Megatron, thinking the
Autobots are destroyed, takes over the city, draining its energy and
causing massive destruction until the Autobots return.

1988

May - Megatron, increasingly perturbed by the Autobots' dominance, on the
ground sends Rumble to collect a set of five cars. Megatron takes these
vehicles, adds a few special features to their car modes and takes them to
Cybertron to give them life through Vector Sigma. He succeeds and the
Stunticons are created. Optimus Prime, seeing that he is too late to stop
the Decepticons, has Ratchet, Wheeljack and Alpha Trion convert some old
transport jets into earth jet forms to combat the Decepticons in the
skies. Alpha Trion merges into Vector Sigma to activate it and the
Aerialbots are created.

November - The Stunticons wreak havoc on the roads destroying several
million dollars in property by running into cars. The Aerialbots in their
attempts to defeat the Stunticons cause similar damages to the surrounding
area.

1989

February - Starscream is thrown out of the Decepticon ranks for attempting
to kill Megatron once again. He was exiled to the island of Guadalcanal
where he stumbled onto a set of old army vehicles which were badly
damaged. He went to Cybertron where he stole some Decepticon prisoners'
laser cores and placed them within the vehicles, creating the Combaticons.
After his attempt fails, the Combaticons were placed on an asteroid until
they were towed back to Cybertron by Blast Off.

March - Upon reaching Cybertron, the Combaticons overthrow Shockwave,
placing him and Starscream in a prison cell. They planned to take over
Cybertron and convert the space bridge into a device to throw the earth
into the sun. The Decepticons and Autobots managed to deactivate Bruticus
and he was later reprogrammed to obey only Megatron.

June - The Autobots try desperately to improve their relations with the
humans after seeing the war turn uglier with the addition of the new
troops. Constant attacks by the Insecticons, Combaticons and Stunticons
have severely ruined cities and towns, causing millions in damages. The
police departments are so busy trying to deal with the Decepticons that
crimes within the cities are increasing.

July - Optimus Prime sends Tracks, Hound, Blaster and Jazz to help out the
local police officials in a couple cities. They manage to crack down on a
smuggling scheme, car-stealing ring and other illegal activities. While
they do this, they happen to find out that the Decepticons are behind the
attacks.

September - As a result, the Autobots begin the construction of a new
group to help protect the humans against the Decepticons so that the
police forces can do a better job of cracking down on crime.

Inferno approaches Optimus Prime with the suggestion that five of his
search and rescue partners from Cybertron be rebuilt into human emergency
vehicles to help fight the rampant crime in the cities. Optimus agrees and
returns to Cybertron to recruit these members who are rebuilt into the
Protectobots. Realizing that Superion has been getting constantly
overpowered by the three Decepticon gestalts, Optimus requests that the
Protectobots be given the ability to merge into Defensor.

1990

February - The balance of power in the war has shifted to having large
powerful gestalt warriors and both factions tried to position themselves
to get the next superwarrior. The arrival of Defensor signficantly gave
the Autobots more power, prompting the next move.

Megatron decides that he needs something that will strike fear in the
heart of the bravest Transformer. So he sends Soundwave on a extremely
covert mission to copy the personalities of the Dinobots. No small task.
This takes several months. In the meantime, Hook and the Constructs create
powerful animal bodies, bodies that will rival the might of the Dinobots.
Eventually Soundwave "copies" the personalities of the Dinobots and brings
them back. There he manipulates the personalities, warping them, filling
them with intelligence and eventually the Predacons are born.

April - The tremendous success of Predaking as a warrior sends Megatron on
a mission to create yet another super gestalt group. He assigns Hook and
Shockwave to start work on an even better group than the Predacons. The
pair go out and create forms more hideous and frightening than the savage
animal forms of the Preds.

June - Optimus Prime commissions the construction of an Autobot super
warrior equivalent to Predaking. They manage to build a technologically-
advanced group and began the gestalt process on them.

August - The Decepticons finish their creation of their new gestalt group,
but unfortunately, they had expended so much of their resources in making
the Predacons that their new group, named the Terrorcons, just couldn't
compare. Their gestalt, with the moniker Abominus, was pure brute strength
and force but with little intelligence. Together, Predaking and Abominus
repeatedly thrash the Autobot forces.

September - Optimus Prime, unable to hold out any longer, tells his
scientists to stop working on the plan to create the super warrior and
simply to give life to the new Autobots in their current condition. Thus
were born the Technobots and their merged form, Computron, while
possessing a powerful body, only had a super intellect.

1991

February - Megatron decided that enough was enough and that the war was
going nowhere fast. He ordered that the assault on Cybertron be restarted,
in hope that Optimus Prime would once again come to the rescue of his home
planet.

April - Megatron ordered his forces to lay low on earth, sending a large
amount of them to Cybertron with a stockpile of Energon to fuel the
assault. Under the command of Shockwave, the enlarged Decepticon force
swept across Cybertron, forcing the Autobots to retreat back to Iacon and
other small outposts across the planet.

May - In dire straits, Ultra Magnus sent an emergency radio signal to
Earth, informing Optimus Prime that a large percentage of the Autobot army
was destroyed, and the casualty rate was growing exponentially.

October - One by one, the small Autobot centers of power were wiped out,
until all that remained was an undersupplied mess of remaining Autobots at
Iacon. Due to the location and construction of the city, somehow the small
Autobot force held off the waves of Decepticon assaults which seemed
almost limitless.

1992

January - Optimus Prime, seeing that Cybertron could come completely under
Decepticon rule, abandoned Earth, assuming all of Megatron's forces had
gone there. He took a massive part of his force to Cybertron, leaving only
a skeleton crew on Earth. Unfortunately, his efforts were too late, and
upon arrival, Iacon was under assault and about to fall.

March - Even with the added troops, Optimus knew he could not hold out
against Shockwave's force. He quickly took command of the Autobots,
ordering them to withdraw from Iacon and return to Earth. Elita-One, as
much as she loved Optimus, stood firm, and took a small group to go into
hiding.

June - Optimus returned to earth, and upon arrival realized that Megatron
was not on Cybertron at all, and had ransacked the planet with the small
force he had left, meeting little resistance. The human governments,
feeling the Autobots had abandoned them, began to lose confidence in their
ability to retaliate against the Decepticons.

July - Optimus' arrival with the added forces from Cybertron revitalized
Earth, as he moved quickly to restore order and push Megatron back.
Megatron offered little resistance to the Autobot counter attack, and
ordered Shockwave return the troops he had sent, so Earth could be
retaken. Unfortunately for the Autobots, relations with the humans had
been severely strained.

September - Shockwave, knowing that he had a superior upper hand, and was
looked upon favorably, logically thought that it was time for a change in
the Decepticon ranks so he left Cybertron with a garrison of troops, and
confronted Megatron. He quickly laid waste to the Decepticon leader, with
his Skyraiders, and took command as the new Decepticon Ruler.

November - Shockwave was even less merciless with the humans. He took his
supporters and conducted a deadly assault on Earth, draining it of its
precious natural resources. The Autobots were no match for the Decepticon
force, and recieved insufficient amounts of energy from the humans to
mount an assault. Optimus seemed to spend more time trying to regain the
humans' trust then attacking the enemy. For Earth, it was a bleak time of
strained relations and utter disaster.

1993

February - Starscream sensing now was his chance, swayed many followers to
his side and confronted Shockwave, claiming that HE was the true leader,
and tried to usurp Shockwave.

March - The confrontation between Starscream and Shockwave turned into a
Decepticon civil war with neither side gaining any major advantage in the
struggle. The Autobots took the opportunity to try to regroup themselves
to establish a course of action.

May - The Autobots tried to rebuild all that was destroyed by Shockwave's
razings. Still, even with this new help, support for anti-robot
organizations in human governments had increased tenfold, and relations
were constantly on the line.

September - Soundwave, seeing the opportunity for a new Decepticon push,
recovers Megatron's lifeless body from a security station on Earth. With
the help of Hook and an extremely small number of followers, he manages to
revive Megatron.

November - Megatron comes back with a vengeance. He quickly drew much
support, by just being alive again ... Many had believed him to be dead
forever, and his new life drew a large portion of his force back to him.
He reduced Shockwave to almost scrap, then managed to convince him that he
would never attempt such mutiny again. Megatron ordered Shockwave back to
Cybertron, to keep it in Decepticon possession.

1994

February - Megatron then took out Starscream's small force as he begged
for Megatron's mercy, claiming he was fighting to keep Shockwave from
completely wiping out all of the followers Megatron had left. Megatron
hardly believed the story but knew Starscream would also fall into place.
Megatron worked quickly to restore order to the universal Decepticon
movement.

March - During this time, Optimus got little accomplished with the humans.
Most rejected any help from the 'mechanical monsters' as they began to
group all the Autobots and Decepticons into one 'robot' designation and
the destruction brought on by the Decepticon Civil War did not help
matters.

May - Megatron decided that the only way he would reign supreme would be
to remove Optimus. He turned earth into a warzone, trying to lure Optimus
out, and kill him off.

June - Meanwhile on Cybertron, Elita's forces had recaptured Iacon in
Shockwave's absence and she informed Optimus immediately.

August - Optimus sent Ultra Magnus and a slightly boosted force back to
Cybertron, so the Autobots could once again stake a claim on their home
... he succeeded and the Autobots claimed a stronger foothold on
Cybertron.

September 1994

The Present
