Balder

Holy symbol of Balder Throughout the world Balder is one of the most beloved gods. Balder the Bright is associated with all animals, particularly the stag. His color is amber and his symbol is a small curved harp.

In Ahvlyn, he is associated with joy, drink, song, beauty, love, rest and merriment. He is also seen as the smith and craft god, the god of fire, woodworking and pottery. Celebrations planned and hosted by priests of Balder are always magnificent and include everyone from the poorest servant to the Queen herself.

The native peoples of The Western Plains see him as the god of celebration and rest. Huge festivals are planned just after harvest and planting time as well as before and after the major hunting seasons.
