His Majesty's Links of Merit
Now that you've explored my Royal Homepage, here are several of my favorite places to visit upon the Web. Of course, I heartily recommend that you visit the British Monarchy's newly-revamped Official Homepage first. It may not have a definitive description of myself, but I believe it to be a most accurate and remarkably astute homepage! In addition, you can also explore the world of the Royal Family in a completely different perspective: theirs! The new site is always updated every month --- which means that there's always something going on in that remarkable Windsor world! And what's more, the Windsors have suddenly wired themselves with YouTube.com as well, having put together what they like to call The Royal Channel! (I do trust that you'll wish to, er .... tune in, as it were.) And anyway, it should be clear to most of you that the majority of my Royal Homepage --- like dear Sandringham itself --- is still under construction (at least, for the present!); so don't feel too bored. I don't enjoy inactivity myself, either. Nonetheless, I do wish you much
fun in your pursuits!
- His Majesty, Sultan Hassanal of Brunei --- one of the richest men on Earth!
- His Majesty, King Albert II of Belgium --- And to think that my mother, Queen Victoria, wanted the Albert name for me! Anyway, this site is in English, French, German and Dutch, so I do expect you all to learn each language thoroughly.
- Kongehuset, the Homepage of Her Majesty, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark --- pictures, biography, other important information (the usual stuff). It's in English and Danish; still, in case you might truly need to re-learn either language, well, you can simply click here.
- Her Majesty, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands --- My word! Look who suddenly has the coolest Royal Webpage thus far! Methinks Her Majesty Beatrix somehow had her Royal Webmaster throw a few hints of rock n' roll into the regal mix!
- His Majesty, King Juan Carlos of Spain --- Ole!
- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, in conversation with Barbara Walters --- this interview was so extensive that both 20/20 and Nightline had to share this powerful conversation!
- The Karadjordjevic Homepage, hosted by His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Aleksandr of Yugoslavia and Serbia --- for those of you who recall those memorable days when indeed Royalty did flower in the Balkan States.
- His Majesty, King Harald V of Norway --- his complete biography, along with links to ODIN, the Kingdom of Norway's online resource. Speaking of the Royals of Norway, please click here to learn about Princess Margaret Louise's delightful storybook about King Olav V, Why Kings and Queens Don't Wear Crowns.
- Her Majesty, Queen Mother Noor of Jordan --- her life story, her adventures with her beloved Hussein, and, of course, a poignant salute to the late Peacemaker.
- The Office of King Hussein I of Jordan --- his complete saga, enshrined for the ages that all may remember his legacy.
- His Majesty, King Abdullah II of Jordan --- Continuing his father's legacy, and making it endure into the next century and beyond....
- Frontline's The House of Saud --- a sensible, frank history of King Abdul Aziz and how his Royal Family shaped the Middle East .... before somehow betraying the world's trust by way of the events of September 11th, 2001. Two other significant Frontline episodes with a particular emphasis on the House of Saud are Saudi Time Bomb? and Looking for Answers.
- His Majesty, King Carl XVI Gustav and the Royal Court of Sweden --- King Carl and those wondrous Bernadottes have their own recently updated website! (How, by thunder, did these Royal Webmasters manage to make Europe's Monarchs so cool, so fast?)
- The Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II --- Need I say more?
- The Queen --- Stephen Frears' in-depth fictional chronicle of the power struggle between Her Majesty Elizabeth II and Prime Minister Tony Blair in the aftermath of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. it is currently available on DVD, HD DVD and .... er, I believe they call the method Blu-ray. (My word, I do have much to learn about modern technology, don't I?)
- BBC News' Tribute to Her Majesty, the Queen Mother --- probably one of the most solemn such online resources you will ever visit. Doubly so if you visit here.
- Henry VIII's Homepage --- featuring the Big Guy's bio, musical compositions, links, and all the dirt on all six of his wives!
- The Royal Adventures of Henry VIII --- This is Ray Irving's very jolly and quite hilarious tribute to Good King Hal, packed with good humor, remarkable information --- and even a fond glimpse of Henry's silly side!
- Good King Hal, alias Mike Farley --- who can certainly tootle a tune or two on the recorder, or traverse flute, if he so chooses! Herewith, his own Henry VIII page! His Majesty's Royal Blog will also present his most recent adventures!
- MyVirginQueen.com, starring Kimberly Stockton as Elizabeth I, and featuring the photography of Chip Talbert.
- Not to be outdone: Deirdre Sargent makes for a wondrous Elizabeth I, too! She reigns at the Northern California Renaissance Faire at Casa de Fruita in Hollister.
- Royalty and Majesty Magazines --- well, in this day and age, even a Royal like myself needs to check up on what our current Kings and Queens on the Planet are all up to!
- Cinderella's Royalty.nu --- The whole Royal world, including a Royal Blog, too! My word, these new Junior Edwardians are quite clever! Like Netty Leistra from Groningen, the Netherlands, whose own Royal Pages doth rule, so to speak! (Heh-heh!)
- The Coronation of King George Tupou V of Tonga
- Kings: The Entire Series --- coming soon to DVD and Blu-ray is your personal invitation to enter the world of King Silas of Gilboa, and discover the powerful royal doings!
- Yvonne Demoskoff's Royalty Homepage --- the undisputed Princess of Royalty Links on the Web! Everyone who was ever a Monarch in Europe is featured here (she does mention me a bit, but just briefly!).
- Iolani Palace --- America's only Royal Palace just happens to be located on the Big Island of Hawaii! Here, King David Kalakaua, the Merry Monarch, had his own Coronation Ceremony (during which he was serenaded by the Royal Hawaiian Band), and held Court almost every day of his 7-year reign!
More of His Majesty's links soon!
Back to Sandringham!
