An Editorial Message from Master Blackwolf

while back, your Dragonmaster received a few hate e-mails from a disgruntled sorcerer calling himself Solaris the Shadowmaster, suggesting that I come out of ye closet and reveal meself as the, quote-unquote, "retard that you truly are." In his rant, Solaris suggested that the only reason for my recent successes, particularly my association with Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, not to mention my appearances on G4techTV's Unscrewed with Martin Sargent, is so that I can be made fun of. Solaris' bitching left me with little choice but to come out into the open and address these anti-Blackwolf letter-writers thusly:

Pray, Milord --- stick it in thy ear!

Look, Mortals, I'll lay it on ye line, as I always do: No other Wizard is as committed as I in terms of kicking butt for the Mortalfolk of the City, County and State of New York on a 24/7 basis. And I don't play nice when it comes to those who don't appreciate my simple message of using one's imagination in a responsible and meaningful manner. The controversy concerning Janet Jackson at the Super Bowl XXXVIII Halftime Show has once again demonstrated to me what our Exalted Father of Mages, Merlin, told me many aeons ago: namely, that Mortals are, as a rule, victims of their own conscience, having been fed for far too many centuries far too many largely explicit helpings of cynicism, pessimism, and just plain old everyday bad manners!

Believe me, I don't take kindly to any rude remarks about the job I do, and I wish to remind my faithful visitors and fans, in fact, that those rude remarks will NOT be tolerated --- EVER --- not within my Royal Census guestbook, not in any e-mails or IMs that are sent to me, or anywhere else within these Dark Chambers!

I hope I shall never again be forced into exhibiting Mage Rage within my own homepage; but on that day, Solaris the Shadowmaster forced me into ye proverbial corner. The bottom line, goodly gentles, is simply that there are those who get it about Blackwolf the Dragonmaster, Duke of Talisker --- and there are those who just don't. To you who do get it about me, as always, my thanks for thy trust, support and loyalty, lo these several years I've been here 'pon ye Aether. As for the rest of ye: These Dark Chambers are here for the long haul --- and there ain't a damn thing ye can do about it!

Hast thou a problem wi' that, Milord?

And now that we've cleared the air on that one:

Perhaps ye'd like to learn of Rings; Or why a war is not me thing.... 1
