Forever Friends
by: Discorde

When October 31st and the time for Anna's Halloween party to begin finally arrived, Anna and all her friends were gathered in Anna's basement. Anna was pleased when she found out that all her friends could make it; she would have been disappointed if even one of them was missing. Mara had on a beautiful, white 18th century dress, its sleeves were long and bell shaped and the front was laced. Her hair was up in curls and on top of the brown curls lay a crown of light pink flowers. Emma was dressed as Cleopatra, she had dyed her hair with 1 wash black hair dye and her had dress was gold and white and matched the gold eye shadow, lipstick and sandals she wore. On her head was a golden snake tiara that she had made herself. Cat's costume was a torn and bloody dress, false bruises marred her face, arms and legs. Her hair was messy and looked somewhat bloody. Nancy was dressed in gothic style with black leather pants, a black top and leather coat. Her fingernails were painted black, her hair had black streaks in it and she also had on black lipstick and eye shadow. Jane had on a black, spandex long sleeved shirt and pants with cat ears. Her spandex pants had a black tail sowed onto the back and with the help of black eyeliner she had whiskers and her eyes seemed more cat-like. Francine was dressed as a clown, complete with the red nose, multicoloured wig, floppy shoes, makeup and costume. Heather had arranged her hair into a tall colourful mohawk, had fake piercings all over her body, chains, and torn clothes. Lindsey was dressed as a hippie with bell-bottom pants and t-shirt with the peace sign on it along with matching earrings, necklace and ring. Finally, Anna had on a crimson and black 18th century dress on, the dress was low cut and its sleeves went past her wrists and were bell shaped, the front was laced and over it all she wore a long, black, velvet, hooded cape.

Anna, along with all of her guests were now dancing in the basement (they had just a few minutes ago been upstairs and had eaten most of the food that Anna and Mara had prepared for them). Unfortunately it didn't take long before everyone got bored of just dancing around or sitting down and listening to the music. The party was supposed to be a sort of murder mystery but to date nobody was dead. But that fact was mostly due to Cat, who had been chosen as the murderer, not knowing how exactly she was supposed to go around and "kill" the people. She had been surprised when Anna and Mara had walked up to her and told her that she had been chosen to be the murderer and that it was her job to try and go around unnoticed and try to "murder" her friends.

The group eventually went upstairs and after everyone had put their pyjamas on Mara and Anna decided that they had better start the games, before they actually died of boredom. The first game they played was Nightmare 4, but since the girls had been eating candy all night long they were all on a sugar high and didn't really pay attention to the game and instead were simply making jokes about how the character in the movie looked, making comments like "oh no she's turning into a horny bat" among other things. Anna, after having had enough of it decided to just stop the game. So it was that the whole group sat in the living room in their pyjamas trying to figure out what to do. After a while of brainstorming they decided to attempt to call Bloody Mary but as they expected, it didn't work.

By this time Anna and Mara were open for any suggestions. Cat was the first to speak up " Why don't we play ghost in the graveyard, we have the flashlights and if your scared of getting lost don't go too far from the house, it's Halloween so let's do something at least a little daring." she said enthusiastically. Everyone looked at one another and after a little coaxing they all agreed.

AN: Ok, I know nothing happens in this part but believe me it's still important to the story and besides things should pick up in the next chapter. Anyway, please keep reading, meanwhile R&R everyone!!!! 1
