"Well, whoever it
is, he needs to tell her. That's the best way." smacked Gypsy, downing
great forkfuls of peach cobbler.
"Aw, you know Tex!
He'd sooner carry it to his grave." Fizzy moaned, plopping her chin into
cupped hooves. "He's so introverted . . . and so . . . male!"
"Well, I'm dying to
know who it is." Sugar Apple chewed thoughtfully. "That country boy doesn't
give his heart awa--Peachy??!
What is this purple thing in the
cobbler??!!?"
Peachy trotted across
the room and calmly retrieved a Luscious Lavender Pony Press-On Nail from
Sugar Apple's cobbler. "Thanks, babe. Been looking for that."
Gypsy grimaced.
"Eww, Peachy! Come on, already! Enough cobblers, okay?"

"Tomorrow, I
cook." Sugar Apple handed down the edict to the offended Peachy, who retorted,
"Sugar Apple, I am sick of apple this and apple that! Besides, I need to
practice for cooking class. I cook tomorrow!"
"No, I cook tomorrow,"
announced Cherry Treats. "I want to try a new recipe."
"Oh, great." Gypsy
rolled her eyes. "We're guinea pigs again tomorrow."
Fizzy leapt out of
her seat. "We have to save him!" she cried excitedly amidst the cacophony
of conversation.
"Save who?" asked Peachy.
"Tex, of course!" bubbled
Fizzy. "We have to save him from a broken heart brought on by unrequited
love!"
"How are we going to
do that, Cupid?" Gypsy laughed sarcastically. "Find out who she is and
stick an arrow in her?"
But Fizzy was already
bouncing out of the room, determined to "help" Tex with his dilemma.
