Description			Background
Vidanya uses her striking looks and evil heart to entice and convert those who possess pure hearts or great power. Her favorite pastime is toying with truly good people and her enemies. She has little patience for people who bore her or try giving her orders. While she greatly respects a hero’s valorous ways, she would never want them for herself. Vidanya is a little neurotic about her clothes. She usually wears white silken gowns of the highest quality to contrast with her pitch-black hair. However, when she anticipates entering battle, she dons equally expensive loose black pants and a vest. And worst of all, she abhors dirt and grime and has been known to kill those who mar her clothes. Vidanya’s stunning physical appearance is magnified by her poise and grace.			Vidanya was Cain’s fiancée before he became a vampire. After his conversion, she begged to be converted as well so they could be together forever. They spent several hundred years spreading terror together, then she grew tired of him and sought new challenges. When Cain learned of her infidelity, he attempted to kill her in a fit of rage. He found that her power nearly matched his. After a prolonged struggle, Cain gained the upper hand but, during his only recorded act of compassion, he let Vidanya go. Over time, they mended ways, and thus began their volatile love-hate relationship. Vidanya and Cain occasionally get together for a little business and pleasure.
