Thanas is a tall, well built man. His flowing dark hair and regal look give him a noble appearance. Thanas has a great understanding of military tactics but is more apt to try a diplomatic solution first when presented with a problem.

Thanas comes from a long line of warriors. His grandfather and father fought in the Great War against the Orcish Horde. Nearly from his birth, he was raised to understand the fighting styles and mindset of the brutes his father anticipated him fighting. To his father's surprise, Thanas understood the enemy mind so well, he organized a diplomatic solution which was one of the primary reasons the war ended. It was the combination of his fighting ability and his diplomatic skills that prompted the people of Dun Modr to appoint him as Lord of their city.
