Description Background
Lleerin is an odd looking individual. His mixed Elven/Dwarvn linage gives him a stout but taller than normal dwarven build. His face has mostly dwarven qualities (including a thick beard) but his eyes and ears are that of an elf. Lleerin is well muscled due to years spent at the forge and is covered with burn marks. He is very intolerant of those who don't appreciate the quality of his work or those who try to rush him. He tends to lose track of time when working on a piece but the finished product is always of superior quality. Lleerin had hopes of becoming a great adventurer when he was young. However, from the beginning he had trouble making this dream a reality. He experienced prejudice from both elves and dwarves and was not accepted into parties which contained either race. After some traveling alone, Lleerin finally recruited a halfling and a half-elf to join him. However, one catastrophe after another and the group was on the brink of disbarring. On one final quest to achieve fame and fortune, the band attempted a raid on a yellow dragon horde. During the resultant melee, the half-elf's bow snapped, Lleerin's sword broke and the halfling lost his arm because his armor couldn't stop the dragon's claws. It was at this point that Lleerin found his new calling in life. To make weapons and armor that would hold up to actual combat and surpass the quality of all others. If he couldn't be an adventurer, he would equip others so that they would be successful. Lleerin studied under the best and even met the Valar smith Aule at one point. He continues to produce the finest weapons and armor in all Kragora but likes to hear the occassional story from an adventurer from time to time and think about what could have been.
