Description Background
Kang doesn't like outsiders and any non-Atlantean is treated coldly. Even his own troops give him plenty of distance. Kang feels that friendships are a form of weakness but tolerates an alliance when it is beneficial to him. Physically, Kang has a very grizzled appearance sporting many scars from previous battles. However, his troops know his ferocity in battle makes up for any weakness due to aging and prior injuries. His barbed spear is known by all and is Kang's favorite weapon. Although Kang is proficient in spellcasting, he prefers to use force and tactics to win his battles. Kang was a warlord in the Tritus military when the city was discovered by mainland humans. After initial confrontations and clashes, Kang realized there was no way they could hope to defeat such large mainland armies so proposed a truce. During the course of the peace negotiations, the leader of Tritus fell ill and died. Having no heir, Kang stepped up and siezed control. Given that most of the military was faithful to Kang already, all other usurpers stepped down. Kang continues to lead Tritus from a military viewpoint but leaves most of the day to day city life to his advisors.
