Janelle's true form is that of a small, slender dragon with a long, slim snout and fine silver feathers covering her body. In human form she appears as a young female with bright blue eyes and long blond hair. She usually dresses in traveling leathers and a hooded cloak, and at first impression she seems soft-spoken and shy. This, however, is a carefully crafted
facade, as it serves to conceal her true intentions. This seemingly helpless disguise is seen as an easy mark by most vampires, and only when Janelle's silver dagger is buried in their heart do they realize she is not just another tasty morsel waiting to be drawn into their fold. Janelle has lost count of how many vampires she has slain, as she keeps no records of trophies of her victories. She feels no regret or remorse over her kills, seeing vampires as mere insects to be crushed. Her success has given her a dangerous amount of everconfidence, and has come close to getting herself into situations she had no chance of handling several times. It is her ultimate goal to strike down the vampire lord Cain, but she at least retains enough wisdom to know she has a long way to go before she is ready for that challenge. |
No one really knows where Janelle came from, as Kukulkan Dragons are a virtually unheard-of race on Kragora. Janelle rarely uses her dragon form, to better blend with the inhabitants and quietly go about her business. No one is certain how her vendetta aginst vampires came about, whether it stems from revenge against an attack on a loved one or simple prejudice. Janelle herself has offered no other explanation, other than simply stating, "They're vampires." |
