Short and compact but built like a brick icehouse. Has long black hair, and a long reddish nose peeks out from above a scraggly black beard. His dark eyes glitter fiercely at anyone who makes eye contact with him, and his quick and violent temper promises swift retribution to any who cross him. Ironstaff's reputation in Paragon has not preceded him to Khaz Modan, which
suits him just fine. Could make a very successful career being a bounty hunter or mercenary, but has no ambition beyond bullying those he sees to be weaker
than he. |
Ironstaff never felt cut out for the day-to-day grind of toilingin the mines like a proper young Dwarf. He was much happier turning an easy gold piece by demanding protection money from local shopkeepers, lest an unfortunate "accident" happen to them or their property. Got mixed up with the local diamond cartel as an enforcer, but his violent and unpredictable temper was often detrimental to the cartel's more subtle style of dealing with problems. After a number of "routine collections" turned ugly, the cartel decided Ironstaff was too dangerous to have hanging around and put out a contract on his head. Gollimer responded by marching into the cartel boss' office in broad daylight, handing him a sack filled with the heads of the bounty hunters who had been hired to kill him, and pinning the boss to his chair with one mighty thrust. Ironstaff then dispatched the astonished bodyguards before they had a chance to react. He then heaped the bodies in the center of the room, pinned all three of them to the floor with a lance, and set fire to the entire building. Ironstaff left his native land of Paragon in search of a new life, and decided Khaz Modan was the perfect place to butt heads with whoever thought they were tough enough. He was hired by Moek Burliber as a bouncer in Grimpen Ward and is given every opportunity to slap around hapless drunks. |
