Garron's fine, almost delicate, features have been hardened by years of vengeance and dragon slaying. He has very noble physical properties and is always dressed in one of his immaculate dragon scale armors. However, Garron has become accustomed to the hardships of the life of a dragonslayer and is equally at home in the wilderness. When dealing with dragons, Garron is very gruff and to the point. At all other times, he is actually quite enjoyable to be around and is always willing to share a story of one of his battles. |
Garron first took an interest in dragons when he was young and began studying them as a purely scientific endeavor. Everything from dragon anatomy to dragon personalities to dragon magic intrigued him. On one of his field trips to study an ancient red dragon he was detected by the wyrm and captured. Seeing that he was not an immediate threat, the dragon tortured Garron for almost a year during which time Garron began his intense hatred for dragons. Even though this hatred was centered on evil dragons, Garron still held out hope that a good dragon would one day rescue him. When Garron felt he could take no more of the torture, his innate dragon sense told him another good dragon was near. The good dragon noticed him and was informed of Garron's plight telepathically. However, the good dragon was young and inexperienced and unwilling to risk his life for Garron. He left in search of some other good dragons to mount a rescue. However, Garron misunderstood his actions and thought he was being abandoned. With all hope lost, Garron surrendered to despair. However, within a week's time, Garron's captor returned from a raid with treasure. Part of this treasure was a supposed "dragon slayer" sword. The dragon was feeling arrogant and thought it would be cruel to offer Garron some sort of hope. The dragon was unconvinced of the sword's magic so he freed Garron from his shackles and threw him the sword. Almost on it's own, the sword pulled Garron into combat and swiftly dispatched the dragon. Still shocked by his ease of success, Garron didn't notice the return of the good, platinum dragon back to rescue him. With the sword's prodding and his own rage not yet subsided, Garron swiftly killed the surprised dragon. Now despising all dragons, Garron swore to rid the realms of these seemingly treacherous beasts. |
