Follaxorn is of medium build, with dark curly hair flecked with grey at the temples, and a thin black goatee. He normally dresses very severely, but always in the finest clothing available. Several gold rings adorn each of his fingers, and he is always seen carrying a finely jeweled cane, although this is most likely for show as he has no obvious injuries. An
entourage of bodyguards, assistants, lackeys, yes-men, and wannabes constantly trail in his wake. Most notable if these is Caine, a half-Troll who is Follaxorn's personal bodyguard and can never be found out of earshot of his boss. Follaxorn is normally very charming and courteous, even to his lowest-ranked servant, as long as his purposes are suited. He has a lethal temper if he feels he has been slighted or humiliated, and many former enemies have simply vanished from the face of the earth while others have been discovered in various horrific conditions, serving as a warning to the appropriate would-be offenders. He is unfailingly generous and fair with his employees, and will consider most anyone for employment regardless of race or background. This doesn't keep him from watching his employees like a hawk, and the few employees who have attempted to betray him served as a grim reminder to the rest. |
Follaxorn grew up as a street urchin on the mean streets of
Stratholme, begging for food and coppers and dodging the occasional vampire. As he was never big enough to bully people, he used his charisma and street smarts to organize his own gang, mostly of other young punks such as himself. From his humble beginnings collecting "protection" money from local shopkeepers, he worked his way up to gambling, racketeering, blackmail, and on up to outright theft, arson, and contract killing. His influence can be found in every major city on the mainland of Kragora. A favor owed to him by a sorcerer was repaid by him being given a remarkable resistance to mental probes and mind control, and an uncanny danger sense. |
