Description Background
Ellis is slender and fair for a Titan, with long golden hair, bright blue eyes, and pale skin that rarely sees the sun. He is the stereotypical aristocrat, dressing in the finest silk robes, with a pompous and arrogant personality. He is a very competent and shrewd businessman, and an efficient city manager. He is also an outstanding gambler, and often disguises himself at night to milk the city's casinos and taverns for all they're worth. Ellis is the younger brother of Lord Noldo Rangewalker, ruler of Nin. His family position greatly influenced his appointment to the largest seaport in the world, allowing Noldo to effectively have direct control over Skope's Harbor. Ellis was raised to be nothing other than an aristocrat, mindful of his place in society (above everyone else) and not allowing anyone else to forget it. He was raised at the palatial estates of the Rangewalker family and wanted for nothing his entire life. His father learned early on of his affinity for numbers and management, and was soon overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Rangewalker home. His one weakness came in the form of gambling, as he was convinced his mastery of statistics and probability would give him the edge and add to his already considerable wealth. His family's money was more than enough to bail him out of some early gambling debts, and after several years became deadly at the casinos. When his older brother Noldo became ruler of Nin after their father's death, Noldo appointed Ellis as Lord and Mayor of Skope's Harbor in hopes that the city's abundant night life would keep him occupied and out of family affairs for a while. Noldo has every confidence in Ellis' administrative abilities, however, and will support any decision Ellis makes concerning city affairs.
