Splinter is basically a humanoid-shaped diamond. His many facets are dazzling in the full sunlight, and he moves with a slow and deliberate purpose. He is utterly loyal to his master and lives only to do his bidding. He feels no regret or remorse for the often brutal tasks his master gives him, caring only for the approval of his master and the aquiring of wealth. Has not been around long enough to develop a full personality or have much experience in dealing with other beings, so he is fairly easy to decieve. He is, however, highly suspicious of anything new and his first impulse when dealing with something unfamiliar is to smash it. |
Bone Splinter was created by an evil necromancer who grew tired of the cheap and often untrustworthy mercenaries he was forced to hire to guard himself and his treasures. Investing much time and effort, and most of his
diamond hoard, the necromancer brought Bone Splinter to life. He got his name when his master gave him his first task: slay every mercenary in the tower that he could find. Seizing a dragon's legbone as a club, Splinter did just that.
The name could also apply to the condition that the mercenaries were found in. Bone Splinter now spends his days in his master's treasure room, never eating or sleeping, and awating his master's command to slay. |
