First of all, signing up is easy, for those of you
who haven't already; and it's free!
Just go to EchoBuzz.com and sign up! The directions are easy enough, and
you may even figure it out from there, instead of
having to read on like MOST people. You know
who you are!! LoL
Signing In
Of course the first thing you have to do is call! It
would not be too easy otherwise now would it?
The number to call is toll free:
1-877-ECHOBUZZ or 1-877-324-6289
Sometimes late in the evening, Echobuzz may have full
curcuits or busy signals. They are simple to pass, so
just keep calling back and you will get through quick
enough - usually.
First thing you do is press 1 for, 'Yes, I am
a member'.
Next step, entering your Echobuzz mailbox number.
Your mailbox number is the 9 digit number they give
right after signing up, and should start with your
local area code.
Such as mine is 405-700-120. For you Cilly, it
would be 405-100-129 :) You people V-mail her
when you figure it out, she has a really cute voice
8›Ž And you can V-mail me if you have any other
questions that are not on this page.
After entering your mailbox number, it will ask for
your four digit password. This are the four numbers
that asks for once, and then twice to varify it,
because it was in 'password stars'.
I hope you made it something easy to remember! Once
again, once you get into the Echobuzz mailbox, you
can change that too :) Mine is ¸¸••••. Hahaha, you
think I was going to say it? LoL
Now it should say, "You have 1 new message" if this
is your first time. It will be from someone called
Blaine Ung. Listen to that message well, because it
will tell you a few things. For you Cilly, it
won't be Blaine Ung, it will be me, lol. Good enough
though, right? 8›Ž
You're In!
Okay, now you're in. There are going to be
advertizements a little bit while you are using
Echobuzz, otherwise it would not be free like it is
:)
Doing things from here is pretty simple, because you
have B.U.'s voice guiding you through
everything.
The Main Menu
1 - Listen
Easy enough! If you have messages, you press 1 to
hear them :)
2 - Record
This will allow you to send a message to anyone that
has an Echobuzz mailbox number! So get all your
friends to sign up, it's free and easy!
3 - Mailbox Set-up
This choice extends into the following menu.
1 - Record Mailbox name
This let's you change what you originally made
your mailbox name to be.
2 - Group list
This choice extends into the following menu.
1 - Create
With this, you can save anywhere from
one
to (I haven't found out the limit yet) of
mailboxes on one grouplist. That way, you
will have to type it in all the time just
to mail someone :)
2 - Review
This choice extends into the following
menu.
1 - Listen to group list names
This let's you hear what you named
all of the group list.
2 - Listen to mailbox names
on a group list.
This lets you hear the names of
the
people you have on that grouplist,
and their mailbox
numbers.
3 - Delete
Easy enough right? Heh, I would hope
so.
Use this to delete a group list you
have
created.
4 - Edit
Again, I hope you can figure this out
for yourself, LoL. Use this one to edit
a group list you have
created.
3 - Change Password
This one I hope is easy enough for you too.
It will ask for your old password, and then
ask you to enter the new one two times.
Then your 4 digit password is changed.
Remember it!!
* - Main Menu
You can use this at anytime during the call,
and it will take you back one menu. Once you
are in the Main menu...
* - Quit Voicemail
Have an idea what this one does?? LoL I would hope
so!
Okay, now I have covered everything! Once you get
your V-Mail to working, you can V-mail at the number
I gave in the beginning. Or you can Email me at Biggstarr16@
