Are you proud to be a shipper?

Welcome. If you clicked on the black-and-white photo, you're probably a shipper-or at least have occasional shipper leanings. You sigh whenever Mulder and Scully hold hands, and disintegrate into a puddle of goo at the rare event that they kiss. Perhaps you listen to Sarah McLachlan and see the similarity between her lyrics and the Mulder/Scully relationship. You find yourself screaming at the screen, "Just go ahead and kiss! I know you want to!" You know beyond doubt that Mulder and Scully share a deep, hidden, heart-pounding, soul-melting love that's stronger for only surfacing on rare occasions.

The ranks of shippers are augmented every day by X-Philes who have come into the light. Unfortunately, many of these new shippers know no better than to flaunt their beliefs in capital letters, furious flames, and a refusal to say anything but, "I want Mulder and Scully to kiss right NOW!" There is nothing wrong with these shippers; they just haven't learned that screaming in bold type will get themselves nowhere.

As a shipper, you have undoubtedly been nagged, harassed, or flamed about your beliefs. "You're crazy! It would ruin the show!" "Yuck!" "Do you want The X-Files to become a moony-eyed romance?" "You're sick!" The people who write these comments deliberately close their eyes to the inevitable. They refuse to believe the truth we see. Unfortunately, they feel the need to disparage our truth. What do we do? Flame them back?

No!

We shippers must stand up for our beliefs. But by throwing cyber-tantrums of flames, we ridicule ourselves. We must prove that, as shippers, we have truth on our side. We are calm, mature, observant people, and we will gain respect by demonstrating this. Yes, we know that Mulder and Scully are in love, but we don't want them to jump into bed in the next episode and turn the show into a steamy mess that takes place mostly between the sheets. On the contratry, we understand that a romance between the main characters must not interfere with the plots. Many of us, like myself, believe Mulder and Scully shouldn't become involved until the very end. Only by demonstrating these opinions in a rational. Scully-like manner, will those poor souls called non-shippers open their eyes to the validity of our beliefs.

With this in mind, I'm creating sort of a shipper's club for wesite owners. It's not a webring or award-you don't have to apply for anything-it's just a way to let the world know that you are a mature, reasonable shipper. Many people believe there is no such thing, but we can prove them wrong.

any mean comments about non-shippers or any other groups
plagiarized material
anything like this: MULDER AND SCULLY SHOULD GET TOGETHER RIGHT NOW!!!

Your page must have real content-not just a list of links and a guestbook.

If your page fits these requirements, use the graphic and code below:
