Who's Who: Doug Staudt

Welcome to my page! I hope you are enjoying this site. It's my first attempt at designing a web page. Please sign our guestbook and let me know what you think of our site. If you have come to this page to find out about me (and this wonderful background), please read on.

I am a 28-year old native of north Idaho. I relocated to the Tri-Cities in 1992 and currently work as a Senior Radiation Control Technician at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation. I have green eyes, but I do NOT glow in the dark!

My list of hobbies seems endless to me. I am an amateur photographer, paintball player, homebrewer, webmaster, and roleplayer. My favorite games are (in no particular order): Cyberpunk, Rifts, Sla Industries, Star Wars, Star Trek, Mutant Chronicles, Aliens, Renegade Legion, Dark Conspiracy, Twilight 2000, BattleTech, Vampire: the Masquerade, Warhammer 40,000, Necromunda, and Gorkamorka. I also enjoy some collectible card games (Rage, Vampire/Jyhad, Netrunner, Highlander, Star Wars, and The Crow.) My favorite musical groups are Aerosmith, Queensryche, Type O Negative, and White Zombie.

I have been an Assistant NorthWest Regional Storyteller since December 3rd, 1997. As an ARST, my duties are to maintain communications with the Camarilla chapters, particularly in eastern Washington and northeastern Oregon, acting as a liason with the NW Regional Storyteller. This allows the regional staff to create regional and global storylines for the members to participate in.

I am also an Assistant Domain Storyteller in the Tri-Cities Domain. As an ADST, I am the lead storyteller for our Wraith Chronicles. My job is to keep track of locations in the city as they are perceived in the Shadowlands, the realm in which the wraiths dwell that overlaps the "real" world. I assist the players in creating their wraith characters and their counterpart Shadows. It is also partially my duty to play the part of these shadows and tempt the wraith characters into the Oblivion.

It's probably no surprise that the Camarilla is my favorite hobby. I really like being able to work as a group to perform community service to help others. It is something too few people do anymore. The Occluded Moon chapter is a great group to work with. Most organizations have 10% of the people doing 90% of the work. This chapter is the opposite; everyone puts in 10% or more to accomplish the same amount of work. They are also a very creative group, whether doing community service, events for ourselves, costuming, or in the characters we portray.

If you would like to know more about my characters, click here.

Stop by again and I will tell you more about myself and the characters I play in the Camarilla. I have a few more waiting in the wings to be played which will be quite enjoyable.

And don't forget to check out the other members of the Occluded Moon, as well as the events and activities we have participated in.
