Part 2 Then he heard it. He opened his eyes and there before the still nude pair was a trio of menacing looking aliens. They were all bald and approximately two and a half meters tall. They were all clad in black flowing robes that were fastened in the front by heavy metal enclosures. Anger shot through Tom's mind. Anger at himself, how could he be so stupid. Even though the planet was supposed to be uninhabited, he should of taken some kind of safety measures. But no, he had screwed up again, he always did eventually. He was so intoxicated with desire for B'Elanna that he had been caught defenseless. As fully defenseless as a man could possibly be. "B'Elanna," he whispered. "Don't make any sudden moves. Three aliens are looking us over like we are the best thing since Jambolian fudge cake." B'Elanna nodded that she understood and he could feel her muscles tighten under his arms. She was prepared to act if necessary. He removed one arm from her body and slowly he inched his hand toward the pile of clothing hoping to reach his phaser. His fingers were within a hair a grasping the weapon when a transporter beam whisked them away. Tom and B'Elanna clung to each other, still nude and vulnerable. They had materialized in a white spotless room. The same three aliens had been joined by several others. One of the aliens threw their clothing toward them, and made a motion for them to dress. Wearily, keeping their eyes focused on their audience, Tom and B'Elanna pulled on their clothes. ****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^**** Meanwhile back on Voyager, a certain pilot and engineer were late reporting back from the surface. Janeway sighed. she thought, "Mr. Kim?" "Yes, Captain." "Hail, the Lieutenants, and let them know that shore leave has ended." "Aye, aye." She didn't have to tell him twice which lieutenants she was referring to. Harry punched a series of buttons and hailed the pair, but received no response. "They aren't answering their hails and according my instruments Tom and B'Elanna aren't on the planet or on Voyager. It appears that they are missing, Captain." "Missing?" Janeway sat up straighter in her seat and turned her head in Harry's direction. "Do you know their last known coordinates?" "Yes." Janeway rose from her chair and headed for the turbolift. "Seven of Nine and Tuvok you're with me. We'll beam down to that location with a security contingent immediately!" "Yes, Captain," Tuvok responded and he and Seven joined the Captain in the turbolift. ****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^**** The away team materialized on the shore near Tom and B'Elanna's last known position. Tuvok and Seven had their tricorders out and were scanning the area. Pointing her tricorder toward the grassy hillside, Seven proceeded up the slope toward the spot where the pair had been just before they had been beamed away. "Have you found anything?" Janeway called from the sandy beach, the wind whipped strands of her hair around her face. "Possibly," Seven answered. The Captain, accompanied by Tuvok and the rest of the away team, joined Seven on the grassy hill. "What is it you found?" Janeway asked when she reached the blond. "Fluidic secretions," Seven stated simply. "Fluidic secretions?" What type of secretions?" "Semen. Yes, definitely semen. Tom Paris' semen to be exact," Seven concluded matter-of-factly as if she were discussing the benefits of Borg regeneration. "And there is evidence of a similar type of fluid that is compatible with Lt. Torres' body chemistry." Janeway tried in vain not to blush. "Yes...ah...well then I guess we know what Tom and B'Elanna were doing before they disappeared." Seven looked at her blankly. Janeway whispered the answer in her ear. Seven's eyes widened even more than usual. Kathryn had to admit that Voyager's love birds always did manage to get themselves into interesting situations. "Do you detect anything else?" she asked addressing both Seven and Tuvok. This time it was Tuvok that spoke up. "By adjusting my tricorder, I have discovered a faint signature of a transporter beam, Captain." He paused and consulted his instrument once again. "Unfortunately, I am unable to determine that, if the Lieutenants were beamed anywhere, where it was they were beamed too." "Well, maybe we can find out more on Voyager. Transporter room, away team to beam up," Janeway ordered. ****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^****^^^^**** Tom and B'Elanna now dressed and with their commbadges back in their possession, but unfortunately without their phasers, tried to contact the ship but received no answer, so they decided to speak with the aliens instead. "Listen," Tom began pasting a friendly smile on his face. "We meant you no disrespect. I'm sure if we could talk this over you'd see that we mean you no harm." "...quiet...later..." were the only words that the universal translator picked up. "We are a friendly race we had no idea that the planet was occupied. We performed detailed scans of the entire planet before we transported to the surface," B'Elanna tried to explain. The aliens didn't respond this time and only huddled together talking amongst themselves, occasionally they would all look at the couple and they would resume their discussions once again. The largest of the aliens, stepped forward and clapped his hands twice. Several other aliens, each carrying spears, stepped forward and prodded Tom and B'Elanna towards a wall of doors. They stopped in front of the fourth door from the left. The same large alien clapped his hand three times and the door sprung open. On the other side of the door . . . . = = = = = = E-mail me at kelhapam@lr.net and let me know your opinion on what is on the other side of the door and what await our favorite couple. It could a number of things, an animal, an alien female, an inanimate object, or something else, you decide. If you want, you can elaborate on your idea and briefly explain what will happen. You have until next Saturday morning, November 14, to send me your ideas. I will then take a tally of the vote and proceed to write the next piece of the story during that weekend. Note the decision of the judge (namely me) is final. I would like to thank the 17 people that took the time to vote in round one, the answers covered a wide range of possible scenarios. It was nice, in particular, to see people respond that don't currently write fanfic. And again, a special thanks to Marleena for agreeing to post this story as it develops. Her site addy is http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Rampart/6467/ She helps to make this endeavor possible.
